I am not new to Forex nor the Currency Factory, I just love to trade. For me trading is a life time thing, but with some areas of serious concernin.

All traders are greedy and thats why they always lose, I am greedy too but I am working on it.

Everything I write here is real, if we believe nothing is impossible.

All the same if you folloe my principles of trading, you do so at your own risk. It does not mean that you wont win, I am just telling you that you are responsible for whatsoever trade you commit your money on.

Come along, lets trade Euro Usd if you have what it takes

DF, eur/usd is my puppy. I too have to deal with that thing called greed. I Look forward to acting like I know what I'm talking about on your new thread.
All my first trades last week were successfully rewarding, the evil thing I noticed is that instead of stopping at least to enjoy the proceeds of my trade. I end up contining to trade thereby losing to the continuous deceit that is eminent on forex charts.

I use MACD always, I have found it to be interesting and result oriented, but I tell you my greed is working me out.

My trade today was carried out at about 5.20EST, I have decided to use strictly MACD and very little of pivots.

I went short and exited after making 10 pips.

my hope is that I continue making this type of profits on daily basis.

I am trying nor to be greedy today.

As my trading days goes by, I have been able to select a method for my Holy grail. The method has passed through many reformations and metamorphosis.

It started with a name "CNP", it metamorphosised into "hedgers paradise", it is now known as "BEST TRADES".

My decision to name my style Best trades is based on one philosophy, "It is better not to trade at all, than to be in a wrong trade -Anon, (2007).

So far, it has been a wonderful style following only MACD peculiarities i.e Divergence, Convergence, e.t.c. I dont know if you know what I mean.

Anyway, I'll keep reporting my trades and soonest, I'll publish my result.

Can you imagine that I have made another 10 pips right away, I have grown my account again today.

I am looking forward to keeping that gain, in case greed comes along you know what I'll try to do? "Sit on my hands"

If I continue to make 10 pips on a daily basis like this, it means that my Holy grail is truly it.

It is always sweet to make my increased pips, I lost about 10pips today and I am not happy about it.

Really the joy of any game is winning, but I also learnt today that sometimes losing is a part of learning how to win.

after my previous loss, i decide never to take chances again. Trading is a game of consistency, it is always there to make you learn and learn.

But my question is will traders ever learn, there is always a kind of urge to continue trading when you have just made some huge profits. Instead of you to go away with what you have.

Anyway, I'll try to be careful next time.

I longed Euro Usd at about 9.00am today and claimed 10 pips as I normally do.

Macd was showin an uptrend on the daily chart, An uptrned on the hourly chart, a downtrend on the 15 minute chart and an uptrend for the 5 minute chart.

I decided to long it because of a reversal candle that showed up on the 5 minutes chart. My decision was a correct one and I made my money in 20 minutes.

My second trade of today was a tricky one. All my MACD indicators were showing upside except for the 15 minute chart. I allowed a maximum climb and then sold, my limit was palced as usual at 10 pips and guess what?

I claimed another 10 pips. My account is growing per second.

What a wonder and discovery, I have been consistent for some time now. I know that I need to be real patient and commune with other traders too.

I am a type of trader that knows little to nothing about all the big jargons of forex, but I have started recording good results.

Thanks to God who has ensured that the hard lessons I learnt in Forex trading are not lost.

I just claimed more than 10 pips today. But note that it is always better to stick to your plan so that your fingers dont get burnt.

DF, 10 pips is 10 pips. Is this a method or just descretionary entries?

Something serious happened today and I would have looked back to say why did I go out of my trade. I was able gto overcome this situation because I had lost some time ago.

This has made me to decide never to regret any trade especially when I just made some profit, even when I see that immediately I quitted market stiill move further in my favoured direction. What I tell myself is that it is better to be there for other wins than die before the chance comes again.

The growth of the account has continued steadily, even though I lost something today, I have made up for it. Thus my account is still in profit as am speaking. 138% increase.

Good news......
The trading on Friday made me know that it is good to use stop loss, I am alwaays keen on using them before, but I did on Frdiay. Maybe if I did not I would have lost a substantial part of my money to margin call.

I lost more than 10 pips , thought I was able to recover it before end of the trading week. I even made more, but I had to trade more than I planned for
My sundays is now characterised with reading and thinking about the next week. Hope to see you guys trade well next week. Cheers.
I though I should post the summary of my new demo account opened on the 12th of October 2008.

I have been able to grow the account from $50,000 to $140,000 using the CNP method described earlier.

I hope to continue in this way so that my account can prove to me that I am nearing my Holy grail.
