Nasdaq Futures NQ Trading Diary

It has taken a while but I am fairly consistent with my trading now, I use the same methodology each day, trade the same market each day and have time to record youtube videos each day.

My strategy is fairly simple too, so it should be easy to follow along.

I do make mistakes and I do lose money but overall the ideas are good.

ECB Reduces Bond Buying Pace

My London open trade worked out ahead of the ECB Here is the recording

TLT and 30 year bond caught a bid after the 30 year auction.

Here is how I traded the day came out with $1k after commissions and fees

Morning prep Video looking for a decent level to trade off with a double bottom enticing for a target but mindful of the long term trade to the upside towards 16,000

Took a short with the idea being we're going down to Thursday's low Here is the analysis

Done for the day $1400+ profits few losses a long the way - here i close out and talk about what i was trying to do

They found my entry, lets see if tey can get to my target before the close tonight (blue box)

Just waiting to see if this is a "Look Below" before they close inside the range or whether there is a failed retest of the support - now resistance

Just kept things simple today, no real push outside of the Initial Balance , just a rotational day with some scalps

US CPI was slightly disappointing for those looking for a taper call in the next FOMC. Nasdaq rallied pre US session. An ideal situation for a "Gap & Trap" trade

7/10 of the last #nq #NASDAQ US trading sessions have printed the high of the session in the first 60 mins of trading. The intraday double bottom that completed yesterday looks like my target, so will wait to see if the Initial Balance today works out in my favour

just curious what SL do you use? Also you trade just support and resistance? No fibs, no pivots? VAH/VAL, POC (especialy virgins - i LOVE virgins!!!)

I place my SL under market structure, plus if I don't think things will go my way I tend to hit the Exit & Cancel button.
I am trying to keep everything super simple, so support and resistance off a few levels appear each day.

1. London open
2. Algo line
3. Settlement
4. Previous days VPOC
5. Initial balance high, low, mid
6. Initial balance range extensions

I may look at a weekly or monthly pivot if I can't work out why the market turns at a certain level. But mainly there is a volume node that gives me enough info.
