Hello I have just opened an ig demo account and familiarising myself with it before going live . Could someone please help me out with a few questions . There are a few boxes that I am looking at .
The first one is size USD which I assume is one contract so I would just tick 1 equalling 1 contract .
It does give the option of .05 but 1 is better.
1 contract equals US1.00 per point which I assume is the mini contract with the normal contract trading 10.00US per point ?
Second box is stop . I am impressed with this option but have a question . If I place a stop at 73261 for example and the price gaps down below this point what happens . Would I have to place a backup stop below my original stop in the Limit box just in case price gaps down . .
Lastly as an example I just looked at the price 73261 up to 73501 equals a range of 240 pips so assuming this would equal 240.00US on the mini contract and 2400.00Us on the normal contract . Thanks
