Daylight Trading Strategy

Hello! Thank you to Laura for this wonderful strategy and the time invested in detailed explanations for all participants. I will allow myself to make a small remark (wish). Many participants in the discussion publish their successful entries, focusing precisely on how successfully they made a deal. It seems to me that it will be very useful to publish here also your unsuccessful trades that ended in a loss. And additionally explain why you recorded a loss, why you did it at this price (in this place), what your decision was based on. Thanks again to all the participants of the discussion. I read the whole thread with great pleasure.=)
Am I correct in thinking we now have the following:
Channel with 8 smoothed MAs set on high/low
Plus a 100 smoothed MA
W%R 14 (hidden) with 8 and 21 smoothed MAs and a -50 line

I am not sure if this would be considered a "subtle little element", however I have added another 100 smoother MA with a shift of 10.

The channel is set at 5,smoothed, high/low. If your chart is the aggressive mode, the MAs are 5 & 13 smoothed.

Would anyone mind sharing their statistics since using Daylight? e.g. growth in their account, number of trades taken, average win, average loss

This kind of statistic will not bring you any suitable clue for you…
I spent on this strategy not much time and made 16 trades having all winners. No break evens but winners, generally I used TP as a form of closing trades. Sometimes I closed trades early because I had go outside, sometime close to early because was afraid they will turn against me. Every person is different, and every person react on what see on chart in different wat. What is for you important how you react on what you see. Somebody experience will tell you nothing about yourself.

MTF Analysis Tool

As I mentioned in some previous posts, I hoped to have an analysis tool that assisted with forming a bias on an instrument. Delighted to confirm that Barraka has now released the updated dashboard here:

Do you put a protective stop order? It can be seen from your table that you suffered quite significant drawdowns (over 50 pips) with a very small profit in the end.

it’s literally in the first post with the template..
It’s a template. Put it in your template folder instead of the indicators folder

p.s. if you can’t read the post. I suggest not to trade. There’s some entry requirements and not always “oh green cross red, LETS GO” kind of strategy.

Hi,
I'm looking to understand more about made-to-order indicators - eg an alert when certain MA's cross (for another application).
I realise this thread is all about the Daylight strategy, but I'm new to FF/Forums and very new to the types of indicators kindly built and posted here.
Any pointers please?

I've had mixed success with this strategy and not quite sure why. Sometimes I don't think I'm at the charts long enough to get the best entries, but I'm unable to trade full-time - usually around the first hours of the London session. However I do like the strategy, and appreciate all who have contributed . . .
