Danc I haven't looked at this for a while but it just struck me again. Aussie news out at the close of this candle. Next hl, 3 bar rev signal a really nice move. In your knowledge is this normally the case, good moves that are relatively stable judging from the chart after news? At my age I'm more than likely awake at 2.30 in the morning having gotten in my 4 hrs sleep (not that bad I normally bag another 2 hrs from 4-6am) so must start putting on the computer.
Dax 5 min, L/H, ma's nice angle down, 3 bar sell signal, waited for the previous low to clear. Missed my TP at 76 but any pips for me on NFP day a bonus. Exited after the positive close candle.

Re news..and OZZ market..V i really dont follow news at all..never thought of it..for me its just the charts..the 200 has a mind of its own.. if the Dow goes down.. it goes up WHY..??i dont know.. you never know with it ,i gave up trying to second guess the news..

OK no problem. From what I recall when there is Aussie news there is usually a move after, does not have excessive volatility. Because its not something you can back test ('cos its news days) I'll try and remember to watch for AUD news events. I think same applies to post jpy news moves.
With GJ GU agreeing there should have been pips available here also. I was focused on dax today so just showing these charts for example even if they didn't turn out being the biggest moves.
Kicking myself for missing this mornings moves on Dax. After the strong move up just after LO didn't want to advance higher so waited for a move down. 5 min shows the multiple tops and 3 bar reversal close below 12450. Missed the previous 1 min LH at 12435 ish but got this for +40. Will probably be happy with that until after US open we'll see.
Just got out of a meeting so no trades so far, showing for the record. Frankies half hour reversal (again thanks Islander for the gem that currency moves often initiate half way between FO and LO), GJ and GU agreeing, 3 bar sell signals.
