Pip Cruiser can you disclose your sentiment score for EUR aspect by aspect, since you post the aspectarian gifs files of this currency for 3/22/2010, as an example for this method. Thank you.
Ignored
So that means that if one sees 180 and 0 then one would add 3. But my question is the sign which aspects between planets produce positive and which aspects between planets produce a minus. Thank you... please do not be sarcastic, is a real question, not a "lazy" question. How do you define that criteria. Is there a Table anywere? Another question is do you sum all the aspects of that Day or just some. If some, which ones ? Thank you for your patience.

The problem I am having is that my sum for March 22,2010 for EurUsd is diferent than - 3 (yourscore) That is why all my questions.

When everything seems setup correctly, and you're getting what you think is good data, it's time to save your settings under a logical name.

On the first trading day of the week the Moon aspected Saturn, Pluto, Uranus, Chiron, and Jupiter on the AUD natal chart. All within about 12 hours. There was a 100 pips drop on AUD/USD, which had been on a nice upward trend. Check it out. It’s a very good study for astro traders...

yes, very strong, and uptrend since weeks ago and just regular retracements. I was following his performance since last call from James when AUD didnt fall, do you remember?

Hi jfvelas. I noticed late last night (for me) that I'd answered your questions wrong. I've been trying to figure out the best way to handle it. I decided to delete the garbage, and start again. Sorry for my goof up. I'll try to help you with this. No problem.

This was the second week in a row where the Moon aspected that "mutable cross" on the AUD chart. It causes some nice movement. It might be worth keeping our eyes on in the future. It's on an approximate 1 week schedule.

I'd like to find some sensitive degrees in the other natal charts, similar to the AUD. They might be nice and tradeable. Areas where there are T-squares, or something along those lines . . .

The next step is interpretation. In general, we're classifying squares (60) and oppositions (180) as negative or bearish. Sextiles (60) and trines (120) are positive or bullish.

Conjunctions (0) are a little trickier, and can be either positive or negative depending on the planet. For instance when Saturn is involved, it's considered negative. When Uranus is involved it can be explosive one way or another, so that can be looked at as negative.
Ignored
Interpretation is the most "divergence" topic heh because traditional astrology give us basics but we must to test and seek correlations and after a while we favoured some aspects (sometimes not of all planets) by example me... i prefer slow planets, major aspects, i dont know why but i dont feel comfortable or confident yet with my knowledge for short term, moon or sun aspects; i guess for moon i found very interesting just situation of "new moon" phases, weird. i am still learning short term, its the reason i research more when i see a james call.

ps: i believe you had a typo above, when you quote "square" (60) because you know its 90 heh, nice extract of major aspects... maybe we could make an index of importants post with info or tips.

Can anybody find where I screwed up my analysis (or ranking) of CHF in this post?

http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...&postcount=930

It involved the planet Saturn, and a hint of what I missed can be found in this post:

http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...&postcount=955

Finding it might be a good learning experience for you.

After Zap returns from holiday, maybe she can help cover some topics like additional astro software; good astro books; transit to transit interpretations; moon phases; retrograde planets; and major trend changing aspects. Maybe we can spend time posting about one or two of these topics on the days we’re active here, depending on our mood. In some cases this might just be links to prior posts on the subject. Just a thought . . .

sure!
well in transit to transit or retrograde planets i cant help much because i dont follow it (someone to help in those topics please?)
i am just testing transit to natal, new moons, and major or golden linkages aspects. Often just long term.

this is a good idea pips cruiser, i second it.

jfvelas - Here's the EUR aspectarian list for Mar 22. It is a tough one to add up. What made it easier for me was to change the way that I totaled them. Instead of tallying them up from the top to the bottom, I started tallying the positive ones first, writing that total down, then tallying up the negative ones next.

Actually, I tally the positive ones first, write the number down, then tally them again for verification. If the counts are different, I count them again. If they're the same, I move on to the negatives and tally them. Then tally negs again for verification. Once I'm satisfied, I add the positive and negatives totals together. This helps with a complicated chart like we had with EUR on Mar 22. Divide and conquer.

I use conjunctions (0), sextiles (60), squares (90), trines (120), and oppositions (180) in the count. My count is +12 for the positive aspects (conjunction = 3 ; trine = 2 ; and sextile = 1). My count is -15 for the negative aspects (opposition = -3 ; square = -2 ; conjunction involving Saturn = -3). So the final tally I come up with is -3.

I definitely am human, and it's possible I added them incorrectly. Be sure to include both the top section and bottom section in your count. "Aspects found" and "within 1 deg of exact".

The key to running this software for a given currency is using the correct natal date. The ones I’m using are listed below.

[font=Verdana]The natal GMT time is less critical for what we’re doing. But it would be nice to have the same or close to the same time, if we’re posting charts to the same thread. It takes a 2 hours difference in GMT time to cause about a 1 degree difference in the position of the Moon. The other “planets” move much slower, and the difference would just be a fraction of a degree. That’s...

nice tip! and the good reason
btw i like the post of dates, that way we can try to standarize to compare our results if we are using these dates of birth.

Yep. Also, the time listed in the top section of aspectarian, the "aspects found", shows the GMT time it becomes exact. So for lunar aspects we can subtract approx 2 hours from it to know when it is within a 1 degree orb.

If we assign a value of 3 to the strongest positive aspects, 2 to the second strongest group of positive aspects, 1 to the third strongest positive aspects, -3 to the strongest negative aspects, -2 to the second strongest group of negative aspects, and -1 to the third strongest negative aspects, we can come up with a sentiment score for this currency. The higher the better (or the higher the more bullish). This would be one way of using the info . . . but not the only way.
Ignored
this an alternative method to transpole influence of aspect to charts, heh i never think that way but i must say is easy to interpret as clasification for bullish or bearish, now to test it and see if it could works from theory to practice; hope you could elaborate a bit please.

Thanks cruiser

I agree. The closer the better. We might never know the exact times of some, but we can use a consensus and work from there.

Are you all rested up from your vacation?

Another way would be to look for the most powerful aspects, that are occuring when volume should be at it's highest. This can (theoretically) set you up for a trade during Frankfurt, London, or NY session.
Ignored
this is similar to my way

and of course adding usual tech tip to our test; overlay of session means market has hard time trying to manipulate it with highs volumes.
Our research and correlations has more true and we can see more accurate if it works or if its fail.
