Another thing you can use in the interpretation, is the time that the aspect occurs. You can try to ascertain (at least) which trading session the sentiment change will occur in, and maybe how long it will last.

Thanks from all the readers who check in on this thread (like me), for your contribution and effort. Very much appreciated

How do you know which pair to link your astro analysis to.

Thanks
Ignored
Good question. The simple approach would be to trade the majors. So if the analysis is for Euro the pair would be EUR/USD. But another idea would be to trade the “hot hand”. Look for a particularly strong currency and a particularly weak currency, then trade that pair in the direction of strength.

Can anybody find where I screwed up my analysis (or ranking) of CHF in this post?

http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...&postcount=930

It involved the planet Saturn, and a hint of what I missed can be found in this post:

http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...&postcount=955

Finding it might be a good learning experience for you.

I’ll make another series of posts soon that covers more detail about the Aspectarian software; goes into greater depth about the various planetary aspects; more depth about the meaning of “transit to natal”; and lists some additional natal chart dates (which are the key to linking astro charts to individual currencies in this method).

After Zap returns from holiday, maybe she can help cover some topics like additional astro software; good astro books; transit to transit interpretations; moon phases; retrograde planets; and major trend changing aspects. Maybe we can spend time posting about one or two of these topics on the days we’re active here, depending on our mood. In some cases this might just be links to prior posts on the subject. Just a thought . . .

Here's the names I use. EUR Natal, AUD Natal, etc. The ".opt" is a file extension, and you don't have to actually enter that part.
Ignored
I see that you have files created for each currency, what setting are you using, can you send them to me at forextrend AT yahoo.com
or can you post the setting of those files.

Thanks

For those wanting to use Aspectarian (a.k.a. SE_Aspectarian), do a Google search of “se aspectarian software” and it will list the download sites.

I’m using 0, 60, 90, 120, and 180 aspects. 0 and 180 are the strongest. Second strongest are 90 and 120. Third is 60. I take these relative strengths into consideration when interpreting.

James preferred to only use 0 and 180, since they’re the most powerful. If you like this way of doing things best, feel free.

You can enter dates using either DDMMYYYY or MMDDYYYY format. But you need to be consistent with it. You can’t have some of the dates in one format, and others in another.

The key to running this software for a given currency is using the correct natal date. The ones I’m using are listed below.

The natal GMT time is less critical for what we’re doing. But it would be nice to have the same or close to the same time, if we’re posting charts to the same thread. It takes a 2 hours difference in GMT time to cause about a 1 degree difference in the position of the Moon. The other “planets” move much slower, and the difference would just be a fraction of a degree. That’s why it’s not too critical for us. The times I use have evolved over the past few weeks as I try to get things right. I even changed some this weekend. If you prefer using a different time for some reason, it’s not that big of a deal.

EUR – Jan 1, 1999 ; 0 GMT
CHF – May 7, 1850 ; 0 GMT
GBP – Apr 12, 1927 ; 0 GMT
USD – Apr 2, 1792 ; 17 GMT
AUD – Feb 14, 1966 ; 17 GMT
NZD – July 10, 1967 ; 17 GMT

Here is the USA (country), the Dow, and Nikkei.

USA – July 4, 1776 ; 17 GMT
Dow – July 3, 1884 ; 15 GMT
Nikkei – May 16, 1948 ; 0 GMT

For those having trouble understanding the concept of “transit to natal” here’s a graphical way of looking at it. Chart #1 is the Euro natal (birth) chart. Chart #2 is a snapshot of the transiting planets, or in other words where the planets are currently located. Chart #2 doesn’t have to be exactly NOW, it can be for some designated time period. In this case I’m using March 22 at 0 GMT, which will be coming up very shortly.

Here’s a chart that graphically depicts the Euro transit to natal. The inside wheel is the Euro natal chart and the outer wheel shows today’s transits. A person can actually look at a chart like this to determine the transits, if they choose. But the list we get from Aspectarian makes the job easier.

Here's what Aspectarian came up with for the next 24 hours, based on the same data as the charts above:

If we assign a value of 3 to the strongest positive aspects, 2 to the second strongest group of positive aspects, 1 to the third strongest positive aspects, -3 to the strongest negative aspects, -2 to the second strongest group of negative aspects, and -1 to the third strongest negative aspects, we can come up with a sentiment score for this currency. The higher the better (or the higher the more bullish). This would be one way of using the info . . . but not the only way.

Another way would be to look for the most powerful aspects, that are occuring when volume should be at it's highest. This can (theoretically) set you up for a trade during Frankfurt, London, or NY session.
