I didn't think he was eligible as not a natural-born american..but maybe that's changed..or the rules could be changed LOL

Today we have Red news
The GBP rates decision (an hour before NY Open)
USD unemployment claims (a ½hr after NY Open)
and
tomorrow
NFP for the USD

Will markets coil up today (inflection) and explode later
or Will the MM/LPs take us on a roller coaster ride of extremes before settling down before the news big'uns

Hi folks

The charts I post of course are not trading charts, or even FOR trading charts.

I post them hoping newer traders might see an apparent “high organisation” within price movements during the day/sessions from stations to stations.


If a new trader is able to see what is happening in front of their eyes
(over long periods of time and around various pairs, incl gold)
THEN
any observed market mechanics might possibly be used and overlayed onto ANY (imo) of the 10,000 threads & systems & trading methods available, just here on FF lol, plus umpteen others on the world wide web (or You Tube)

Imho the mechanics of the markets have far more importance than the final method of trading, which follows afterwards.


Then it is merely (again, just imho) a traders choice,
as to which of the many and any methods suit them best to actually trade around their own personality style, risk boundaries & times/sessions available.

Personally I prefer to view a horizontal line ... ie Price ... especially when it is near/nearing a trader attractor area/zone


But why not have look at some moving averages. As many traders use those also for direction & structure & maybe trade entry or exit.

Imo there is no right or wrong or best or worse, just what suits us best individually. The market has its own (collective) mind also.

The horizontal price-line targets & attractors just suit my eyes best I reckon.
(all attractors known in advance as the day begins)

I find this an easier chart to trade, while each to their own of course.

Yesterday I posted a trader attractor chart only, then a simplistic moving average chart overlayed on the trader attractors.
One chart is not better imo than the other.
Only Trader can determine what chart or chart style suits their own trading personality best.
No one way to trade, or one way that is best is imho.

Observe the mechanics the market will play out day after day after
Which it "has to" imho (for this market simulation we all in retail play) for it to CONTINUE
(ie imo the market has to aggregate all the 'current in-play' buys & sells ELSE who is taking the opposite side to all our retail trades,
and this is NOT a manipulation in my eyes,
it is a FUNCTIONAL NECCESSITY)

Choose your template that you have tested & are currently comfortable with,
NOT back-tested, tested on a simulator going forward - from a date in the past

I have posted others but here is the simplest non-trade ability to overlay your template on and then just watch the days candles unfold by timeframe of your choice.

The first simulator is free, and while I found the 2nd better as you could add a simulated trade as the candles unfold, I won't shill for it. Up to each trader.

Yes.
The market mechanics are global imo by pair, metal & indice that I can see, but up to traders to determine that for themselves.


Honestly not much point me posting day end review charts any more Andy,
as they all look the same imo (even tho I do enjoy doing so after seeing them when I wake up hahaa)

Its all a simulation Pete, algo generated for all charts.

Im happy to close the thread down, as you say, everyday is the same business.

They move the charts in the most economically viable way possible to capitalise on suckers trying to predict price movement.

And why would anyone need to be taking the opposite side to all our retail trades if less than 10% of retail traders are net profitable? Does a casino hedge all punters bets at the roulette wheel? These charts are mathematically designed with great precision...until the intended target breaks or fails to reach. I think somebody here made a comment along the lines of..."all these charts are just patterns playing out, until the pattern fails and a new one begins, at the point of a pattern failing before it etc".....might even have been Moody,I honestly can't remember. But it got me thinking deeply about the charts......

Candles..on the surface they look like a genius invention, but not FOR the trader...AGAINST the trader. Playing on human psychology. Red and Green. One min time frame. Roulette mentality, Buy/sell. 50/50. What a "wicked" invention. Would they have enticed all this new generation of gamblers into their forex casino with just a boring black line on a chart? Are folk still watching CRT tellies or do the want the latest 65 inch 4k OLED TV with it's perfect blacks? The eyes demand eye candy.

If it is the end for this thread then I'd like to thank ALL the contributors over the years. There have been some outstanding posts. The market IS there to be cracked. It is not a random series, no way..not in the monthly chart OR the 1 min. Sometimes we have to just settle on a strategy that makes us a few pips here and there with stats in our favour just to get a few dollars in the bank....back in the background things become clearer and clearer.
