I was trading btc on the weekend on an eightcap company (FCFF specifically)

I had 3k profit on 15 lots of BTC and when i closed it I ended up with -800. On live server 4. The problem is it wasn't a TP or SL so I dont have like the stamp of the slippage but when my mobile phone said Close with 3k profit i hit the close button) and the statement then shows the -800.

I broke my own rules trading BTC on weekends, or trading crypto at all, but I was curious to check some things and that was the result.

{quote} My experience is kind of different, when I start fresh funded account slippage is not bad but it gets worse with profits. When profit starts increasing around 5-10% spread becomes consistent for 2-3 lots on 100 or 200K account. The problem is not occasional but consistent 0.03 slippage. I am not sure why there is no positive slippage. I used to have 10K account and 200K funded account, when I made 10% profit on 10K account around 2k, I accidently place 10 lot US30 trade on 10K account instead of 200K, I saw 10$ slippage, I place same time...

that's great, and I understand how hard it is, because to achieve such goals in 30 days, its not easy even for experienced traders that can just leverage, perhaps, MT5 platform is not the best.

Can you describe so step by step, which was your trading style, how many trades, how many days, what you traded, when, something to get inspiration.

thank you, and congrats.

After the FCFF slippage matter, I hit the jackpot today on some lucky trades (funny what happens when you really don't give a crap). So I now have done 8 trading days and have a significant profit. On the 18th is my first payout time and I plan to coast after the 10 min days. Lets see if they pay.

Takisd,

Thanks, appreciate you checking this broker out. I had them on the list after I was fully funded with all the reputable ones but was on the fence due to the payout issues I heard. I will be monitoring your progress closely.

Just received email from axitrader that it will not partner with Psyquation on their axiselect funding program. All trading will stop on end December 2022. It seem axi will be coming out with their own program with higher payout.
Hopefully no need pay fee.

indeed, it is more of a rebranding thing.
i am pretty sure it will remain a track record-based funding program and not a pay-to-play prop type.
also, it will likely involve a shorter track record necessary to qualify, vs the outgoing 6 or 12 months.
my understanding is that not all of the finer details decided just yet, but soon it is expected to be finalized.

happy trading!

I have been a member of Axiselect for quite a while so was disappointed it is closing for sure. I did query if it would be replaced and the answer was yes and details to come in the coming weeks. I got the impression from the reply that it will be more the pay to play however and I do hope I am wrong. I also asked if qualified accounts would be auto included and the answer was no - all new signups will start from scratch.

Time will tell I guess.

" I got the impression from the reply that it will be more the pay to play "

think this is the wrong impression.

" I also asked if qualified accounts would be auto included and the answer was no - all new signups will start from scratch"

correct. however, there is ongoing talk about how those existing funded accts would be able to be included ( it they would likely pass by the new criteria).

nothing is set in stone yet, so it is indeed some wait and see.
that said the replacement is 100% certain!
there is always, always another trade!!

The funny thing is that other than inside this thread. The majority of the market for prop firm don't want things slower they want them faster. The amount of 5 day minimum crying in various groups/discords is unfathomable.
