I am trying to set the risk settings on tradovate but its not working.......
Is it me or TPT doesn't allow....
Coz account will breach if we hit the DLL

I get up at 6am everyday, get my daughter to school, lift weights, go jogging then work outside all day til 9pm.

don't think that feature is active for evaluation accounts with them......

remember it was not available with apex for a long time...... only in last 4 or 6 months has it worked...... they did something on their end......

thought about trying to add tpt accounts to group trading with apex accounts..... if the risk settings would cover all in the group, it would accomplish same thing......

too busy..... never tried....

pipmaster might know more......h
to trade and code, keep both simple... no call to impress....h

All this stuff is Darwinex's internal algo doing whatever the heck they think it is needed to attract investment.
From my point of view, they are just another prop and I am (if successful) selling signals.
The low 15% pay is a trade off for their being regulated and reputable.
All I'm going to do is trade in a way that incurs low dd and accumulates profits overtime and see what happens.
Besides, I trade currency...I don't care what S&P 500 does or why they want that to be the base to compare all trading with.
Whatever.

Makes sense since the most common investment advice is "Just Buy SPY and Hold" they can elevator pitch Darwin just by saying "The risk is no greater than the S&P with higher upside". Most people would say "Tell me more..."

Indices have a long-edge (since they go up more than down for obvious reasons) FX doesn't have - that's one advantage.

LOL - I feel the same. I trade currencies because I want to be isolated from all biz related drama - buying/selling 24/5 with no weekday gaps to worry about. They can have it but FX makes a good side-bet for all the stock traders and I'll be doing the reverse and buying a SPY index with FX profits. I also like that my algo's can naturally trade bull/bear. I'm ready no matter what happens unlike stock traders without tested and profitable bear strategies.
