another update.
things are moving forward, trading is solid, and just received the next addition to my equity, +100k AUD.
in theory, if nothing unexpected happens, 2 more months are left to max the acct out.
some more goals to work toward. one step at a time.

Q4 2021 has ended, and with a little delay performance fees and new HWM was declared, backdated to the end of December standing.
overall i am disappointed with the quarter, but more with myself than anything else. the same time, not really feeling to beat up myself about it. it is as it is.
part of the goals planned for the period were reached, but the important part of making a good payout wasnt.
bcos the end of November dd, and recovering back just in time for the year end, there was only a tiny profit split. (58$)
currently the equity is higher already, and nearing back to the previous equity high; also the criteria for the next milestone (+100k add) is satisfied already, so it is mine to lose, which i will try not too
comes 24th Jan, may update about that.

another evaluation day today,
and the account qualified for another +100k extra fund.
there is only one more goalpost remaining to max out to the currently allowed allocation limit of 500k aud.
or actually a 1/2 step, cos that will involve +50k more only.
here is the current look (note: all-time profit gets adjusted by TE to reflect all deposits, thus looks different on the screenshots, occasionally lower than before)
once that step is complete( ideally a month from now), i will remove any posting restriction, and will be a chance to ask questions is there is any.
not expecting much though, building a track record was never a popular thing on the forum. nevertheless, i am attempting to show it is possible.

every journey starts with a first step, and every journey ends with the last step.
this journey has started here 13 months ago.
it had a purpose to show it to any aspiring trader that with relatively low personal funds ( 2k AUD or approx 1.4k USD), a plan, and perseverance to follow thru the ups and downs a trader can get pretty far over a period of time.
where the period is not equal overnight!
the original title was about a 350k funded account. somewhere around halfway the rules has changed and the max available funds' cap raised to 500k, so went on to complete that new goal as well.
that has been achieved as of yesterday night.
in a sense, my journey here is complete now.
in another sense, the real work will just begin. bcos this was a chapter mainly dedicated to building equity base ( AUM), and now with even fewer metrics to concern about, my focus can and will fully shift to making the most out of the accumulated equity base: make a profit.
in the end of the day we all trade for one reason: to make money!
where at stage#1, with a 10k slave account making 1% or 3% wouldn't be a major difference ( @20% perf. fee we talk about 20$ or 60$), with the available funds maxed out that similar scenario will make a lot more difference.
here is how things look in the moment:
i have tried to record here every major event, both the happy moments of doing well, and the drawdown/stop out when made a mistake using on this acct the first time a new instrument, and how to pick oneself up, dust off, and climb out from a hole. that recovery took 3 months and plenty of money out of my pocket! but everyone make mistake sometimes, and i am definitely not an exception to it.
same time, i believe i have shown here a transparent, honest, verifiable way. psyquation "pro" accts and ranking is public info, on a verified, 3rd party website.
from the beginning, nothing is faked here. nothing is hidden. no demo trading. (https://app.psyquation.com/en/leaderboard/pro)
nobody can predict the future, but no one can take away this journey the past 13 months!

Axiselect added mistakenly +50k to the equity; the correct, with the 500k funds ( +profits) stands like this:
apart from this 'minor' detail, everything else is correct, of course. actually, they also did not adjust the copier multiplier to the correct amount, and thus cost me a pizza or two, but i will be fine ( as long as they correct it by Monday).
the next stop is Q1 payout, but there is a month more to go...work in progress.

Well done, Z! Congrats for being able to scale up to $500k trading capital from Axi in one year.
The answers in order:
- there was zero restriction on trading style, apart from a single -10%dd from start of month equity. Basically every legit trading activity is ok. Able to use the leverage, no compulsory SL on each order, free to scalp or hold over weekend.
- I have earned minimal performance fee so far ( the thread is 3 pages, easy to find the posts). Part bcos the Quarterly payouts system and my unlucky occurance of the DD I have had at/near as quarters ended, part for the equity being lower level at the early months, and finally, also talked about, that apart from the pro stage, there was no need to hit more than +0.01% profit to progress...and as it wasn't real incentive to push hard.
Bcos the master acct was traded when slave was penalized, actually the profit from master looks considerable better, and I was withdrawing that 1-3% monthly to my other acct. If you interested I can look up some myfxbook both accts for comparison. I was trading only more active to recover from the DD, else just minded to pass the goalposts, up until now where there is no additional equity incentive left.
This quarter the acct is up about 13-14k with a month to payout, should all stay on track it will be a decent payout. Will see soon.
- yes, I would sign up. I have shared some of my ideas with Mike, and some adjustments were made to that direction ( I don't claim bcos if me!), and I believe if the latest proposal will come "live" it will be the most competitive offer of the kind.
