Why are all these methods so complicated and with 7-9 indicators. The EGO looks for all this complicated stuff. All trading is basically summed up as this.
Basically, you are selling overbought conditions in a downtrend, and buying oversold conditions in an uptrend. The trend is always from a higher timeframe.
Over sold is the dip you are buying over bought is the top you are selling. This is your classic "buy the dip" and "the trend is your friend"
The CCI indicator determines if it is overbought or oversold. There are many other overbought and oversold indicator.(Clive's pullback indicator)
The TTindy is an indicator that finds a trending market.
I learned this from Clive's post . Trading is easy as ABCD. This is a summary of his method. He also use to use a moving average or two. But I wanted this to be as simple so I won't mention it.
You may add the moving average if you want after you have mastered the method.

Technically will work on any timeframe, but keep in mind Eric from "Trading Made Simple" recommended you trade 1hr and 4hr charts, he said that the lower charts had too much noise and you get whipsawed too much.
