Hey Guys, I completely agree BTC trading is not easy, but I found something that really gave me an edge. I started using this tool early January and as is the case with all indicators, this one is not 100% either, but (!) I have been making good money off of it. The guys who did are Traders themselves and they focus on COT analysis. Check out these videos where you can see their indicator on BTC in action:

Well basically there are 3 kinds of signals. When the red line (Commercials) are at an extreme, we get these yellow stars (they call them diamonds, but I like to call them stars ) When the star is below the candlestick then it is a buy signal, when it is above then it is a sell signal.

Green line (Speculators) at an extreme: the candle changes color.

Stripes across the chart: these happen when the above two are present at the same time --> I love these! There aren't too much of them, but when they happen, the chances of the market reacting is pretty high.

All these colorful indicators are fake advertising. Hilarious when they start adding new words like commercials and speculators..all just to cheat people into buying their crap!

I bet any of these who claim their indicators are that easy to trade and have high success rate to show us live entries.

They all play the already exposed game of saying go back in time to see how accurate the indicator is!!

The colors always adjust itself after the move have happened not during, that makes it useless and no better than MACD and RSI that are for free, go check both by going back in time to see how accurately working...

I totally feel you man, I came across myself a ton of such indicators... I am not saying that this indicator is the Holy Grail, there is no such thing / none of them can be 100% accurate. Anyone claiming it is truly a liar and a cheater. I have been trading markets for over 15 years now and I consider myself a conservative guy. I do my research and I have tested hundreds of indicators. I have lost money using this indicator, let me start with that. But (!) who doesn't? After proper testing and tuning the rules I can say that is has definitely become a key part of my trading system. I must admit, I have been a client of them for many years now, I can say I know the Team behind this indicator. They are mainly Futures and Forex traders who started off with COT analysis. I always loved using the service, it really helped me understand the big picture, see the trends in markets and get ready for larger shifts. They stayed true to their words even when they developed the iCOT indicator, "i" standing I guess for intraday... Anyone who has been using the COT report published by CFTC will see the correlation with their iCOT score charts. I do. It is much more than a simple MACD or an RSI... When they had the futurestradingguides and forextradingguides services, I had a talk with them. Then they were giving daily results, so called FTG scores that measured strength in the markets. They told me that their true goal was to bring it down to the real time level, signaling on even a 1-sec candlestick chart. They did it! and the best part (for me) is they kept the basic concepts of trying to differentiate between Traders, understanding what positions they are taking.

One things for sure, I am grateful for this product and it has helped me increase my success rate in Trading. My experience is that one of the best markets on which the system best performs are cryptos. See the attached recent screenshot on BTC. Unbelievable! Wouldn't be surprised that you're one of their employees or even developers of the indicator and company!

I am not! You have the freedom to think otherwise, but I am just a trader as most of us here.

Here we go again... Once again, bitcoin falls in value. As soon as I saw it had broken through the 60k level, it fell again.
Apparently, a bearish trend has begun.
Who has any assumptions about this?
as long as 57400 remains intact scope for longs is not much. also given that it trades in a 2000 dollar range stop is quite normal there. I would short at 55400 for a target of 46k.

I didn't think the $2B crypto exchange scam in Turkey was the trigger behind the recent moves lower in crypto, BTC. But it certainly didn't support btc prices. But now this second one? Not good.

It's just growing pains in an immature market. But still not good for the shorter term outlook. Careful where you put your crypto! Cold storage!

I have started trading cryptocurrency recently too, at the moment I am trying to learn more about the market and not invest too much money into it until I understand everything. From what I studied and read on the internet, I have decided to invest in Litecoin and Ethereum, do you guys think these coins are good to invest in? One more thing that I have read on the internet is that now is the time to invest into altcoins, but there are so many on the market that it's really hard for me to decide what altcoin to invest in. All of them are very very expensive right now

I don't recommend any of them, but the older the bitter

The most important thing is the price

Wait until a coin of your choice drops 40-50% from the high then buy it

That's what I'll do

Also, if you reviewed and studied their historical charts

You'll find cryptos can drop 80-90% of its value

Take that into consideration

At the end, I think cryptos are the future, whether governments like it or not

The survival of the fittest, wisest, .... etc.
BTC is short all the way till at least end of 2021 ... Cheers!

Therefore, this white dotted line would be the center line of any channel, (Indicator).
Excludes side lines ,,, (color (none))
The blue line, you're right! can be adjusted according to your preference ok!

I exited BTCUSD for a profit today and waiting until May 18th to 20th for a BUY opportunity. I am experimenting with Gann Square of 9 (for the approximate timing) and for the technical analysis, i am using trend lines drawn at the following angles: 75, 60, 45, 30 and also use basic candlestick patterns.
