Wilma shared some valueable insights (from my perspective) today in teamspeak. Pips for Wilma!

I believe the 50% retracement of today's range, which was a result of the breakout of the last 18 hours or so, is the safest place to enter long.

Just my 2 pips.

Rio
May the trend be with you.

Hello All:

On my 1hr chart, my channels don't seem to update when I'm using LRC_AHA_0_3. The lines in fact are showing a downtrend and the candles are way outside of the channels. Any help as to why this may be happening?

Thanks in advance!!!

Marc

I am totally confused.
I have a demo with MIG, all looks great.
I just opened a demo with Interbank, and the channel looks different.
I am using the same indicator, I noticed that the indicator goes further back on Interbank, then it does on MIG.

When I use the manual LRC, the channel seem pretty wide....

Any suggestions?
Steve

Yea, kida funny i suppose, but normal for this techno geek. My wife ( Cari ) kinda wonders about me sometimes though, as Audrey will send out some of the craziest alerts...that is when the pillow speaker comes in handy. grin.

First i'm not really even trading with all my marbles this week as i guess i'm not taking the "Holiday" break to seriously. That said i did observe what i thought was a good entry in that price had gone below yesterday's close, then broke above, then bounced up off the close all withing the longer term LRC that i still have up that began in mid November (in blue). I also have the shorter term downtrending channel that is from beggining of December. Both LRCs were brought up to yesterday's close as there were no crazy spikes create an unusually wide channel.

Here is the trade:

http://www.accrete.com/fx-srdc/trade...81hrGbpUsd.gif

OFF THE RECORD...

For the past handfull of trades i have had excellent results in observing what price is doing related to the prior day's close. Often observing a reversal and subsequent bounce, then taking the trade in that direction toward the median and onto the high or low in the direction of the bounce-off-close. I hesitate in sharing this as i know it is not part of the "rules of engagement", but it might prove beneficial and it involves no indicators or changes to the LRC channel... just an observation of price about the prior close and taking advantage of a possible setup.

....end of rebelious thoughts.... and now back to our ORiginal channel. grin

Hi everyone! First off I would like to say, I really appreciate all the work done in this post, and all the knowledge that is being shared here. My son and I would like to come aboard and learn. Was today a tricky day? I am trained in Vegas tunnels, so this is a bit differnet, but yet simillar in some regards. Had my channels been set back a month on the daily, and I had payed attention to the SHI-true channel (the indicator one everyone used in the beginning, but I guess dumped) on the hourly, I would have made some serious pippage today. Instead, I did nothing. When looking at last months trade setup data, the median of the LRC, only makes sense, if drawn from a month back (October to each previous day). If drawn from the beginning of the month to each day, it is constantly getting blown up everyday, making a decision very difficult. My son and I have been reading through the post, but we have not found anything yet that describes this. So, am I missing something that will help us feel more confident in pulling the trigger? The higher bottom kept me leary on the short side, then the breakout happened (that was technically a tunnel trade, but with the holidays and all, who knows). The SHI was showing price at the med, while the LRC (manually set from dec26), had the price on the edge with it poking at the weekly and daily fibos. Do we use multiple settings or channels to understand the possibities of price action?
You know what you get when you combine breakouts with edge trading? MUD!!!! I think the conflict of what is the right thing to do, is the real challenge in trading. Flipping the mind from offense to defense, so to speak. Maybe Orange could comment on this????
Sorry for the novel. hey Thom...I have pillow speaker too.
Walrus and son, could use some help here

Normally i draw the channel manually with trend lines, i just used a fibo channel as a referrence for marcf. As far as what we should be using is the Linear regression channel (LRC) for the purpose of learning the SRDC2 method from Master Orange. Didnt want to cause any confussion just wanted to show marcf something that would look like the tool he was using.

Hi all,

Yesterday was definitely a fruitful session for me in TS.

I'm gonna discuss the 1700 candle analogy which OR has mentioned abt once.

What i presented below is just my analysis on SR lines. I have taken some days to look hard into it and i feel that big boys do leave their trail...almost every night...yes.

There is a way to recognise these candles, i might be wrong on how i predict this and i am only gonna disclose how i recognise it if the master is agreeable, but one things for sure, these candles are profound. We just have to keep looking, its like a treasure hunt. No wonder OR always says...i know where it will go but i won't tell you.

Hi All,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Orange Roshan and all the members of SRDC I and II who have contributed so significantly to both threads. May God bless all of you. I read/study the entire threads during the past months and must say the level of cooperation and kindness among Orange Roshan and members surpassed many other threads at FF. Especially, staying the course and sticking to the teachings of Orange Roshan. It seems as if the force is definetely among the members and teacher.

I downloaded the Teamspeak software and signup as directed with the address and password. I am told, that I am connected, and I am able to see the names of the members who are signed in, but I am unable to hear anyone speaking.

Can someone help me, as to how I can hear the conversation in the Teamspeak room when I am signed in.

Once agian thanks to Orange Roshan for sharing/teaching his method and all the members who have contributed to the thread and help me in my quest to learn the forex.

M. Hafiz
