u can do it even without indicator, jpy-chf-usd up (gold normally, but not this year) =risk off
stock and commodities currencies up= risk on

Well, perhaps it is correct - when RISK ON - traditionally people buy Gold?

I don't speak for OP, but I think risk on might be occurring. From my observations, we opened NY with risk off sentiment, but very weak risk off sentiment. AU, EU and GU all turned up and yen pairs held. The only yen pair that got hit bad was EUR/JPY but Europe GDP missed so perhaps that was why. Gold shot up but it could be due to weak USD, rather than risk off sentiments.

Index FOREX OFF show only how strong RISK OFF currencies correlated....alone it doesn't suggest any trade

It's also my idea, i think that time for RISK ON is over.....probably next week we will see a flip
