1.31 is a clear support area on the 4hr. Be careful though if thinking of a new high. 3260ish is the top of the historical monthly range.
Bottom of this historical range is roughly around the 1.28 region from memory.
Compulsions can be hard to resist
each system takes into account different aspects, this is natural.

but I lean very much towards a bear bias.

GBPUSD price action on the daily time frame went sideways on Friday after bulls pushed back a bearish breakdown of the 1.30810 intra-day horizontal support. Although we may still see some bullish move within the 1.30810/1.32750 horizontal resistance zone (purple) in the early part of this week, the dominant technical structure is bearish.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

EU could drag GU down too. Actually BoE Thursday will be interesting as it’s expected no cuts however if they do hint for cuts this year we could see a reaction downwards.

From a GU perspective it seemed we shot up due to commentary that Fed might cut 0.5 % rates on Wednesday so that seems to be priced however if it is just 0.25 then we could see a drop to 130 support areas.

Nice break above Friday's high. Now my bias is clear. Long only until Friday's low is broken and hold.
swing short at 1.3157 , 20 lots
checking pa , new high , next target can be 3175 to 88 while chances correct to 3116 remain intact. probable weekly another doji may form but long leg possible ! take care
