I beg your pardon. The odds (and hopefully the gods of Forex) are with me. Check out the tops on the last two days and wonder yourself - why couldn't PA get further?

[EDIT] Just to clarify a bit: although SNB said today time to reverse the intervention parameters is nearing I bet is not this week at least. And we're getting pretty close to levels swiss get pissed off seeing. I placed my trade with SNB on my back (or so I hope).

That's what gold does lately. No one really knows why. It's just a fact.

As far as I can tell nobody needs an excuse to sell this top, when you would have had a 100% success rate every time its approached 4980-5000 in recent history, 5 times running. Set SL a touch over 1.5 and you have a valid trade. Whatever.

Thank you! I think that the $$$ is potentially going to rally for the next 10 weeks or so. The monthly low that the market prints in January 2010 will be an awesome level to load up on longs again. The $$$ should lose alot of ground the whole year 2010.

I got pretty solid reversal signals on the kiwi and pound and I have been getting short for the last couple days. If 1.5070 breaks I will re evaluate. Who knows? Things can change pretty quick in this market.

I would not open a short in the euro until 1.48 breaks.

Rejection in the cable was not expected today and really sucked. I was on the brink of some major profits again but instead made enough to pay for a decent bar tab.

Connie Brown (as well as numerous other mentors) talks about three positions in the market. Long, Short or simply I do not know. There is much ambiguity in forex currently and I could spin a case for either direction for lots of pairs.

To put it simply: I do not know.

But tomorrow is a new day with updated indicators, updated sentiment and new action to base new decisions on.

You're quite correct there.....everything could be spun any which way at the moment, up to and including the price of fish! The best we can do is trade what we see, and trade according to what each of us believes.

There are 121 traders on this thread now, you will not get a consensus and should not ask for it either. I told you to make your own decisions and did share my short entry with you. Go back a few pages and you will find as many bulls as bears, that's how the market works, I can only go short if someone else buys it off me (I trade ECN). I even gave you my exact reasons for the short including my first two targets.

I was trying to tell you to make your own decisions, you will never be succesful in FX following other peoples ideas, trade signals, tips etc.

Do what you like with it.

Well said RJ, exactly my point earlier in response to a poster asking for a consensus from us. We all see things differently, I had a get together last weekend with a few of my mates, all traders, most fulltime. It became interesting when we tried to share and actually trade of each others systems, none of us could make money with the other persons system even though all present do this succesfully with their own system. I shows how instinct and gut feeling, an unconscious understanding of what we see is so important.

Everyone is so pessimistic on dollar of banks that have reported.

JPMorgan said it will reach 1.62 against Euro in 2010
DB targets 1.60
Goldman Sachs targets 1.55
Standered Chartered sees 1.60
HSBC sees 1.60 by year end
Credit Suisse sees it weakening as does BNP Paribas
Barclays sees Euro strong very potentially new high
Normally when everyone is on one side of boat its time to get on other.
Not sure about other big players like UBS, Citi and RBS

However I know citi is optimistic on Euro against pound so i guess they are also against dollar.
UBS AND RBS i do not know.

Societe general it could break to record high if passes 1.52

it may struggle to get past a certain level.
