I am not sure about that. I've always liked new zealand and australia, and I don't think they'd be selling. Imagine you were the only person that sold corn in the US , wouldn't you want keep raising the price, if you had a monopoly on it, and everyone wanted it. Also, it must be very rare, (I haven't heard of anything like it) that established countries go up for sale.

Hehee..I like your seriousness. I guess I'm a jokster. I didn't really mean someone would buy the economy. I guess I'm refering to purchasing power.

Hehee..I'm in both a buy and sell at 50-100+ pips away from the current price. I'd like to get another short term trade in. I guess I'll wait for it to break 1.5720 for long or 1.5680 for short. Just off the top of my head.

It is possible that the pair will range all day because there won't be any more economic news on europe side or US side for the rest of the day.
Expected the unexpected

During the London open maybe. But I'm pretty sure there will be large movements during U.S. session. I usually trade U.S. eastern from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM, then my wife takes over for the NY session. We trade sessions as its tough to manage these hours.

it varies depending on the volitility.

lets see..take the eur/usd

I'd expect it to approach 1.57063 so on that basis I would scalp a little lower then that target. But it depends.

If I go past 7pips against me then most times I'd exit the trade BUT if I really think that it is going to retrace lower then I would allow up to 20pip loss but then MUST exit.

I use support and resistance a lot. I'm working on a method. It works ok but I am really inconsistant because I look at different things all the times. I'm trying to note down what I do get get really precise but it is going to take time.

a commitment to continuous improvement will carry you far in forex. Congrats for writing things down and looking for ways to improve. When I started putting all of my trades in journal entries and then looking for ways to get better is when my trading really took off.

You get two thumbs up from me:

Many thanks. I agree with you. I have a excel spreadsheet and I write down the date and any ideas that pop into my head as I trade. Then every other day I read through the whole thing to see if there is a pattern or trend in my thoughts and what kinds of results I yield.

In other news today, I bought a big 22inch monitor to go with my laptop. I have it set to 'dual view' and so I have four currency charts going on the big screen and then on my laptop I have which ever chart I want to look more closely at. Having an extra monitor is a huge bonus IMO
