Atlast,

What did I do wrong on my pitchfork compared to yours? Mine is a 5min.......I am wanting to SHORT at MEDIAN LINE but i am afraid it is not correct since your 3 min has different parameters....

Not sure how what levels you target to draw from.....

I got stopped out on my SHORT I took at 4718 when it reached 4735....

So far not a good day......would like to BE today if possible.....I am looking to SHORT....

Thanks

Looks Ok to me. 1.4723 is good place to short, if it gets there. or even right here.

P.S. as with any analysis, the market decides if the fork is correct. Once it is invalidated and market doesn't trade back into it, draw another fork. There should be at least 2 on your chart to help you track the swings

Gawd, this is excruciating

US Dollar Forecast to Lose Further on Sentiment Extremes
Written by David Rodriguez, Quantitative Strategist

Forex trading crowds remain very aggressively long US Dollars against most major counterparts, giving us contrarian signal to sell into US Dollar weakness. Indeed, an incredible 84% of traders are long the US currency versus the Swiss Franc, while a similarly substantial 74% have bought the Greenback against the Japanese Yen. Market sentiment very clearly remains at extremes, and we see few signs that the US Dollar will reverse through upcoming trade. Indeed, we will wait for signs of trading crowd capitulation before calling for a US dollar reversal.

I can not imagine a serious retracement without first having made a violent upward spike.

I am still longer term bull.

So I will be looking to enter more long positions at 4620 and lower progressively.

As for the shorts I am having now, will close them for a happy meal for my little girl.

Later and bon weekend to those who are leaving the party early.

I am actually looking forward on how the daily candle will close today. It will determine if the game plan needs tweaking.

So far, it looks like it may be heading down next week but no one can be sure.

Atlast,

How did you come up with 4623? I did a fib retracement and 78.6 came to this number off the 5 min chart. Is this how you arrived at it or was it due to a pitchfork?

Whne you say to use two forks? Are you referring to two Time Frames or One Fork up and one fork down on the same time frame....Thanks I just want to learn to trade like you!

And I am targeting the 4650 area or S2.....Is this a good TP In your opinion?
Driver55,

ASre you thinking we will get a SPIKE up HIGH today and then drop back down to 4707-47167?

Acumen,

Say, what kind of indicator is that with the S&R levels? Is it available online for purchase or free anywhere?

.4800 sometime next week... maybe.

Chart attached has a buy recommendation but I'd trade small.

This smells like fund liquidation to me... or possibly just profit booking Friday.

I'll probably test the waters around .4640... maybe.

Well everyone draws their fibs different spots I guess but me personally have it at(I'm EST )so sept 17 2:00am high to 9:00 am 1st swing low
that may not fit into alot of others plans depending on their timeframe they trade on!
But to this point it has served me well
