Backtested a new strategy since Dec and all looked good until started live beginning of March.. Seems like the pair is acting totally different. Does it seem to you guys like this is really abnormal movement for EU right now? Hoping this won't last much longer.
You backtested during an impulsive time in the market. Currently we are ranging. Perhaps two strategies? One for range, one for impulse?
When you feel like you HAVE to trade is when you least should!

The immediate resistance is 794...put a line through it and watch hiw price reacts there.
people who are shorting this pair . what confirmation do you need if 4 weeks of bullish close on W1 chart is not enough. would really like to know.

They've breached the position. Now you guys know what creates support and resistance, they are actual positions. Here's another important fact, they are also the trader's AVERAGE position that the broker is trying to take out.

They know the aggregate of your orders and will move price accordingly. This move that were seeing started Sunday night. I suspect a two or three brokers were the ones propping the market up with massive buying. Under each pullback there is still a large amount of buy orders.

Now that the short position has been met and will most likely breach thoroughly, the broker will invariably push it into a loss trapping the trader and will actually GUARD the position from going back into profit. The broker will not let the market go down with a position in profit, they will move price against it at all cost as long as the trader has enough margin to hold it. THIS is what you guys are seeing every day, hour, minute and second. There is much more to this.

Do not trust your brokers, they are your adversary. The "relationship advisor" you speak to on occasion if he even has the balls to speak to you is the one that goes through his client list and decides who the broker can bet against. They also try to reverse engineer the profitable traders and find out what that trader is doing for various reasons you can conclude.

Their technology has come a long way in every aspect. Those of you sharp enough can tell things have changed a lot in the last five or six years. Bottom line, your brokers are motherfuckers that will rob your grandmother and worse afterwards. There is no limit to what they will do with the market - BELIEVE it - for ONE position against them and it doesn't even have to be large. They are also the ones pricing the fx derivatives. The whole market is a smoke show and the politicians and "regulators" are too dumb to even know as they are left in the dark and the regulators are just as much in on it as you go up higher.

There are things I want to tell you guys but sometimes this website is a turn-off mainly due to some of the people. All I can say is that things are not what you think. Just look at the fundamentals and releases for the dollar and what this pair has done.

Enough said for today. Let's see if 794 holds they brought it up this far, most likely it won't and the path seems pretty clear to 830

Do you think Oanda is such a broker, that trades against people like me?

Then pray tell me what does move the market seemingly against your trades as if they (the market movers) are always trying to stop you out? The same thing happens with options trading on Nadex.

Hmm... I started with Forex.com (Gain Capital) then switched to Oanda when I discovered their trading flexibility and funds transfer efficiency is way superior.
So, if they seem to always want to stop me out, then I just gotta wait for strong trending action and ride with it. Easy peasy... Can hardly stop a steam roller or a falling knife...

Glad you noticed. There was a time I'd be able to take a nap and wake up with seventy pips....those days are gone.

Funny you should mention nadex....

They're all using algos now to beat the tar out if everyone. If you're good enough you can tell the characteristic of each broker's algos.
