As a longer term trader, what it might be in the future is probably the most important factor... gdp will swing down hard, no doubt being manipulated.

Very Many got burnt on Covid, why? For not looking at the monthly / longer term / POLITICAL / ECONOMICAL VIEW.

Charts are based on the past they are not capable of actually predicting the future to the extent of taking every single other component into consideration is.

charts come after the event that changes the psychology which has made en mass traders (buyers / sellers) act a certain way.

Now you sound like a nagging wife. I didn't say that you're going to sell. I do not care what you do. All I care about is the money in my account from trading. That is why I am on the win side. Sometimes I have losses, small ones. A lot of us were on a sell side before covid-19. It would have gone that way, but this event happened, and that is why I am in profit thousands of pips. Thanks to this thanks to that, whatever, do what you want, just don't brag like a nagging wife.

charts may show before the event sometime....with hedging

For us traders, charts are very important. Economy, political, you take it into consideration, but you can't predict it. It is just impossible, we do not know, what the banks and institutions are going to do. No way to know. We can added as a tool but it will not be much helpful. As you can see today, looking at small time frames, you could of sell it and get out quickly. But looking at higher timeframes, EURUSD is bullish. And yes, you can see and use past levels, for the present and future to help you decide, if you are buy, sell or not doing anything just market going sideways. Anything else that we do, it is either just a tool added to the trading, or just gambling and guessing.

Have a small long on EURGBP, playing 1D MACD Direction/4H chart dips.

Still long on EURUSD positions.

Took a nap and woke up. A lot of interesting conversation. No need to use search aggressive provoking words such as nagging wife or other unnecessary words. We are minority people trying to ride with the Feds to make money. Nothing more nothing less. Lets be more positive and criticize constructively not destructively. If you guys really dare to criticize each other heavily, I would love for those who act all mighty to show all their trades including losses. Otherwise lets be kind and learn together.

I just looked at weekly on EURUSD, looks like the trend line is broken, cleared that one out. Another confirmation that bullish continues.
