I'm actually an engineer by trade. I have been a software engineer and a consultant for over 10yrs now. I just love building things.. hehe
I got into forex back in 2004, and as many beginners, busted my account and stopped looking at forex within a few months but I always had a love for it because of the freedom and creativity that it enables. So I studied charts for a couple of years and refused to do any trading. Then got into stocks back in 2008. Always loved the technical approach to trading so studied up on technical analysis. Then about 2.5yrs ago I figured I should be able to build something to help me with my trading decisions. Since I am a programmer guy, it helped me test out many many things. Learned a lot about what works and what doesn't. Came to respect the randomness and the unpredictability of the markets. It's really interesting how each new bar sometimes give completely different predictions. So each data point is very important. I was without a system looking at many things. To cut the story short. I figured out what works for me. ForexCube's material was just an eye opener for me. My style is very similar to his. But I use more indicators and different things to give me more confidence on my trades, just makes me feel happy inside.. haha CCI, WPR, Pivots, price zones, those are the primary indicators that I use.

I don't call myself a professional trader by any means. I am still a beginner and I am learning a lot everyday. It's very possible for me to make mistakes still. I still do make them. And I still feel nervous putting in a trade with real money. SO, there is still a long way for me to go before I am at the same level as many of you awesome traders here! hehe I don't suggest anyone just follow my analysis blindly. I will share more of my thinking and will continue to improve the price heat map so I can trade more confidently and give you guys an edge. I take a dual approach to my trading decisions. The indicators have to first tell me the direction and if I am confident with that, I check on the price projection heat map and if the two agrees then I place the trade.

based on my 4hr chart on the whole aud is down atm but shows signs of slowly inching up. However, need to make clean break above 0.9270
and then the weekly resistance at 0.9287 before i would even consider a possible reversal. Nothwithstanding, there appear
to be a double bottom with support at 0.9218. No one knows for sure how the mkt will ultimately play out.

Hi Lamira,

I shorted AU. I feel that its a good hedge against my EU trade in case it goes against me. There is a high probability the price will drop to 0.92160 before it goes any higher.

I placed a small TP target. Will decide to either trail or go Long or TP at the circled zone. We shall see..

Thanks buddy. Let me tell you who I am. Read my profile.......... and after that I met a person here on FF right on this forum, his user name in X.Oden (I know his real identity but this is not for public record). He not only gave me the secret to trading but walked me through it, step by step. I truely believe he owns the holigrail. I tested his method for years, and it has no flaws. It works in every market condition. This method is so deep that I had to work several years just understanding the logic of it. He got a promise that this system will never be revealed. I tell you (and others) this, only because I want to tell you that holigrail actually exists. I am so careful with this method that I never trade with one broker. Parts of my trades are spread among brokers so that they never know what I am doing. Rest of the things I post here are not his system and therefore I am keeping my promise. Trading is just my hobby, because there are many ventures that are more lucrative and profitable than trading. But one thing about trading is that it does not require physical energy. As long as I can physically work, trading won't be my primary or whatever source of income. I still have eight more years to reach 100, and therefore, not physically incapacitated. Once, I touch 100, will make trading my profession until retirement. After retirement, I plan not to do anything................... not even sex.

I read your Bio and I understand what you are saying. 92 and still doing what you love, much respect to you!

I'm convinced that there is such a "holy grail" type system(s), it's such curiosity that drives me. And your words gives me even greater confidence to pursue my objective. I will be reading more of your contributions, such as the Elite Trading thread. I'm sure its difficult to hold on to such an amazing "holy grail" type system without leaving some hints behind! hehe

The biggest secret of trading is KEEP YOUR POSITIONS AS SMALL AS POSSIBLE. I am writing a book on it. This statement is much deeper than it appears.............. like the objects in sideview mirrors of American cars are closer than they appear.
