There was a 22 pip pullback from close of candle, so if you timed it right you could have 20 pips in the bank

I am using attached EA to execute my trades and I am having fair results, close of candle by me is midnight, GMT +2 and I cannot be awake at that time. I usually have to get to bed by latest 23:00 to be up for work next day. So I then check DB and see possible setups and then activate the EA to trade at a certain time. I have been trying different times as suggested by simlee89, just before candle close or at 01:00 when the spread normalized, works quite well.

I believe if I can activate the EA at 23:59 I would get a better result but the EA does not activate the trade at that time set, not sure why. All other times I have set the EA to trade it execute the trades.

I am sharing this as there may be some in the same situation as I am in, please feel free to use the EA and maybe I will know if I am doing something stupid which can be the reason trades do not execute at 23:59.

Just shows you how the brokers differ, makes one think. I have Blueberry also a Aussie broker with a 22 pip pullback and then a SA broker which shows a 13 pip pullback.

I bear to differ, so far I am getting consistent better results than all other strats I have tried that are posted in FF. and I have been playing around here for 5 years, if you are smart with this strat you can make it work.

No one will always have a winning trade, so just manage your risk.

Since when you have consistent result ? How did you manage the loss you got ? Do you trade on a live account ?

I have been dancing around snd demo in forex factory for many years . I think I over complicate it personally .. now I’m thinking less is more , keep it simple . I just started to read this post and placed a Handful of trades on yesterday’s D1 candle close

I agree with you over complicating things is not good, what i say is : i personally don't believe you can make money trying to catch few pips betting on pullback and if you believe a martingale system will protect you, you are wrong (in my opinion of course). Also, i consider demo trading useless =) your broker is different in live trading, for example on demo account i have almost no slippage, hedgind is allowed ...

i wish everyone ouch and like how simple this is but it might not fit my style , trading in opposite direction of a big breakout 110 pip candle and no SL

If you don't have something wise to contribute to this strategy and all you have to say is that trading without SL is useless, then don't comment here.
You need to learn that there many ways to protect your account from blowing it up without using SL.

in post 1: if price goes from last entry against the direction of the trade, open at the open of every new day an additional market order.
what we`re doing here is NOT to make a profit with the additional trades, but to get out of a losing trade without a fat loss.
no use to enter another trade if the next closing day is only a little above/below your last entry.
you could end up with a lot of entries this way and of course a large drawdown.
would suggest something like only add another trade if last day closing price is at least 1 14-day ATR above/below last entry.
