sometimes we're putting ourselves under pressure to perform simply by exposing ourselves publicly, and there was no need for that. Maybe you should just trade for yourself (that's the goal after all) and don't care about showing your results to anyone. Some guys want to genuinely help, some do it for the ego trip, but either way, in the end, the burden is on your side. Regardless, really appreciate your wllingness to share your journey. I'm sure you'll make it back in no time.

I get what you are saying which is why I only just posted updates and also did not put up a trade explorer. Trying to manage 3 accounts, well actually 4 as I am also trading with my own money aswell, prove to be a little difficult at times, so I didn't want no added pressure.

My funded account is still alive, in the minus but alive, I should be able to get that back and I have just bought another 2 challenges.

For anyone reading this and a reminder to myself: stick to the plan you have set out.

Good luck with it. If you have tested yout startegy and it works, then it will be easy, dont stress over the rules too much.

Damn, last post was at the end of July. Its been a while since I have posted, I only come on here every so often now just to read a few things.

Anyways guys, I have still been trading and here is a update on my journey with FTMO

After 4 long months, I have turned a profit, after having a bad start on my first month, I have readjusted my strategy twice and have been slowly coming back and have just turned a decent profit. My last day is tomorrow, which I don't think I will trade and take what I have with the profit split. I don't know the process of this so I am guessing they will email me, I should also be getting a refund for the challenge with this payment.

During these 4 months I have taken on 5 more challenges. Done 2 first and failed these 2. I then bought another 2, I failed one of them the other I have got 2 retires with them as I passed all objectives but not the 10k part but was in the positive so they gave me a free retry. I have passed the challenge and passed the verification which is also ending tomorrow. The fifth challenge I started when I pass the previous challenge and also passed it which will also end tomorrow so I should get details for the verification part of the challenge soon.

I am getting closer to getting the 300k account, as I will be having 2 accounts now. Hopefully I can pass the verification for the last account fairly quickly and then I can combine all 3.

After I get all 3, I think I will also join myforexfunds. As I have been reading here and there the thread started by Mtinifx.

Does anyone know of any apps I can use on the phone to copy my trades between accounts? I make my trades on a phone

Here is the chary of my recent verification stage. If only trading was like this all the time lol. I passed this one in 2/3 days and have been trading 0.01 lots since then.

Lol interesting read. Good to know you're about to get paid.

If I may ask, if this would be your first pay out, are you implying that you've ended each month (prior to this profitable one) since you got the account in small losses/slightly in the red?

So FTMO let's you retain privileges to the funded account even if you don't close a month in profit so long as you don't breach the risk parameters?

Cant remember exactly, but it was roughly like this, first month -5k so I was on 95k, 2nd month i think i broke even so I was still on 95k. 3rd month i was just under 100k and then this month I got above.

FTMO let you keep your funded account until you lose the 10k as I have a 100k account, I would just carry on from there at the end of the month

You can also see from my chart, I have only been able to get over 100k again recently lol. Felt like forever trying to get back over it.

Lol Wow, that was quite a journey, not sure i would have been able to hold through that long. Kudos.

Good to know FTMO is generous and understanding enough to allow for a few slow/unprofitable months.

Yea, it as. I've adjusted/change some parts of my strategy to get to this point so I hope it is pretty good now. If I had kept everything the same since the beginning I would defo lost the account already. at least after this profit split I will be starting from 100k, and technically I have been making profit after the first month, but I was just under the 100k so could not get profit split

Lol Not really for me even though i would like the extra motivation. More confirmations like yours would just help to further shut the negative people up and keep the thread in order.

I have been paid by FTMO for my profit split and also been refunded for the challenge. Hope this is enough motivation for you to start one if you have not done it yet

haha That's good news.

Don't worry about me, i'm more than convinced. I'm definitely giving it a go by January. I intend to close out this year on my personal trading account then focus on getting funded as the coming year begins.

All the best in the months to come man.
I have had 2 bad weeks of trading and have now lost my account.

I will try a new challenge again after the new years.
