The MPs are a disgrace and an affront to the democratic process, only interested in putting their own interests first and ignoring the fact that they were elected to carry out the will of the voters - deciding instead that we idiots are so stupid and thick and that they know better. They are nothing more than over-indulged toddlers who think that if they scream, stamp their feet and throw their toys and food everywhere they will get their way.

They are representative of a generation and a ''class'' of Brit, who so detests the British way of life and with such self-loathing, that they cannot see how the UK could exist without their (so-called) EU betters to tell them what to do. No confidence in Britain being able to make its own way in the world. This is why whistle-blowers who revealed how it had been shown that trade deals made away from the EU toxicity where robust and would stand any stress-test were fired and buried under an avalanche of vitriol.

You hear it in the language used - ''Crash out'' etc. ''Chaos'', blah, blah, blah. Project fear writ large.

This is the new politics - shout down, smear and ridicule anyone who doesn't agree with you. If that doesn't work, call them racist.

In what business would you take your best and most brutal bargaining chip off the table (leaving with a no-deal) while negotiating? You just hand the other side all the muscle, as they have nothing to fear now.

Have you heard the sneering, self-important language and attitudes of the EU bullies?

you re right..agree with you about politicians' characteristics..i feel that most of them are wishing second referandum to get rid of responsibility of avoiding Brexit, but they are acting as if they wish really Brexit..in case of second referandum, probably with the effect of mass media and fed up feelings of people (from prolonged process), the result will be different than first one..

Cameron has gone quiet for a while. Idiot lost his gamble trying to increase his party majority by betting on a cert that pandering to some peoples anti EU feelings would result in a vote to remain being the outcome and thus strengthening his authority. Pratt forgot that many in UK ( and possibly EU) are fed up with austerity politics within the EU and made their feelings felt by using the opportunity Cameron gave them to do so. Trump possibly got into power by similar feelings of remoteness from ruling elites whereby they poked conventional politics in the eye by voting for him. Sadly, people don't win revolutions, only the leaders and their cronies. Expect all sorts of postering to avoid Brexit. Avoiding leaving with no deal is just the tip of the iceberg.

A nutter is a nutter is a nutter, no matter their politics or religion. Does seem a little like the MSN are falling over themselves to show that they are more outraged and shocked than the next bunch. Sympathy porn. Almost like they are glad it was v mosques and not the other way around - but surely not?

The world these days makes one so cynical, I'm afraid.

yes i agree with you , it is very sad but i am going to say something that will outrage the political correct , over the years christians are dying in churches in indonesia and other countries and the media only gave a scant mention of the cowardly acts , it will happen again and again , but i will on monday morning get on with my life and play the forex markets and the world will do what it wants with out a care "mans inhumanity to man" so sad

Aussi, you know it is sad that I and many I know feel the same way but in all honesty, continually find themselves measuring the "risk-reward" of speaking the truth to these matters.

I have family who have fled the regions you mention as well as from W. and S. Africa. We, however, don't seem to matter. Everyone is equal but some are now most definitely more equal than others.
