So, we released version 1.30 - the first update of 2019, which contains technical and visual improvements of the platform. As many already know, we always take into account the opinions and wishes of our users, especially when improving and updating the platform's functionality. And this release is also no exception What's new?

1. Added indicators, drawings, volume analysis tools and trading functionality to Order Flow Surface
2. Extended the settings of technical indicators in Watchlist
3. Added 4 new color schemes - Dark Forest, Dark Autumn, Dark Gold, and Light theme.

1. Trading via Order Flow Surface

The first version of this panel allowed only analyzing the flow of limit orders, their change over time as well as showing their maximum accumulation. After a while, our users asked us to add trading functionality to the panel. But we decided to add a little more to the Order Flow Surface panel:

1. Chart & mouse trading
2. Volume Analysis Tools
3. Indicators & Drawings

Thus, there is no need to keep the chart panel or order entry panel to send a new order. Launch the Order Flow panel, analyze order book heatmap and send orders in one click. In addition, for comprehensive analysis, add volume profiles to the Order Flow Surface on the left, right side, or set up a Step profile.

2. Adding Indicators to the Watchlist

The ability to add indicators to the chart is available in almost every trading platform. But what about the indicators in the Watchlist? We thought it would be useful for traders to see the values of indicators on the whole list of instruments without opening dozens of charts. Open the Watchlist panel with the selected symbols, add the necessary indicators and sort the table by indicator values.

3. New Coloring Themes

It is important for us that traders work on a modern, reliable and beautiful platform. That's why our designers added more colors and "moods" to the platform in the form of 4 new color themes - Dark Autumn, Dark Forest, Dark Gold, and Light Water theme.

You can change the theme through the main application settings in the General category.



4. Time to Next Bar

A small feature, but, as it turned out, very popular among traders. Using the countdown indicator you do not need to calculate the remaining time to the next bar, which is especially important for non-standard time intervals. Activate it through the Chart panel settings and it will appear in the lower right corner of the panel.

As always, we don't mention here less significant but numerous other fixes and micro-improvements, but be sure that they have been deployed, forming a solid foundation for best user experience and the future of the platform's development. Any plans to add Rithmic any time soon? It will offer full market depth.

Currently, we have connections to OANDA, LMAX and all cTrader Brokers. As well crypto connections - Binance, Poloniex, HitBTC, Kraken, Bitfinex.

Futures for trading will be available soon via Interactive Brokers (approx. within a week or two). IQFeed as data provider is available now.

I would like to see a connection with a European broker like degiro.... It's a good broker with great prices ... But there platform is shitty.... So if the 2 off you could work together .... Would be a interesting combination.....

I checked Degiro, but didn't find API.

why not an connection for FIX Api then traders with volume can connect to every true stp fx broker?

1. Trading through Interactive Brokers

Meet the long-awaited trading integration to the most reliable and worldwide popular brokers — Interactive Brokers (IB). It is one of the largest FCM, which gives access to a large number of exchanges with the possibility to trade not only OTC assets but also stocks, options, futures, ETF, bonds etc. via Quantower trading platform.

All that is needed to trade through our platform is to install an IB Gateway or TWS application (Trader Workstation), enter your credentials and connect.

Here is the detailed guide that shows how to connect Quantower platform to Interactive Brokers.

2. Added Value Area to Volume Profile

In this version, we have added the Value Area for all volume profiles, which shows the price area with 70% of trading activity for the specified time range. The value of 70% is set by default, but the user can change it at his discretion.

In the settings, you can set any percentage of the Value Area height, select its color, and also show the outer borders of this area.



3. Updated Custom Volume Profile

We also improved and changed the management of custom volume profile on the chart. Now you do not need to go into the profile settings to change the most necessary parameters. Everything you need for quick control is on the chart:

1. Data Types. Choose any of the 20+ data types to build a volume profile
2. Value Area (VA). Shows/hides the Value Area on the volume profile
3. POC Ray. Extends the level of maximum volume to the price scale
4. A number of ticks. It's a custom step parameter that sums up the volume data for the specified number of levels. By default, the value of the custom step is set to 1 tick, which means the volume data are shown at each price level.

4. Export price and volume data to an external CSV file

Another interesting feature we give in this release for users who want to work and analyze data series. The data export function allows you to download prices, volumes, trades, delta, as well as indicators' values to an external CSV file directly from the chart. After a successful export, you can open the file in Excel, Python or any other program for working with data series (arrays).

2. Make screenshot from any panel

We’ve added an option to create a screenshot directly from the panel for further sharing it via Telegram, Facebook, Twitter, StockTwits or other social channels. Once you have prepared an analysis of the current market situation or the state of your portfolio, make a screenshot and share it to your community.



3. TD Sequential indicator

New indicator TD Sequential originally developed by Tom Demark, shows the completion of local trends, helping to determine the decay moment of the trend and the moment of reversal.

TD Sequential consists of three parts:

1. TD Price Flip is a signal for a potential reversal.
2. TD Setup which indicates where the beginning of the new trend, and where is only a correction within the current direction. It compares the current close with the corresponding close four bars earlier. There must be nine consecutive closes higher/lower than the close four bars earlier.
3. TD Countdown counts the length of the trend to determine the decay of the trend and the formation of a new cycle

4. Improved the Market Heat Map panel

First of all, we have increased the panel's performance, and as a result, trading instruments are added almost instantly! We have also added the possibility of multiple choice of cells to clear the list of unnecessary trading instruments (all or only selected ones).

have been testing for some months now and I always wondered: "Whats your connection with Protrader (protrader.org) ?"

as soon as I tested it first time, reminded me of it. some features ( and problems ) are shared by the same projects.

Previously, our CEO worked as a programmer in the company that developed the Protrader. He left the company for a long time ago to do his own (separate) project.

What problems are you talking about? If you find bugs, write the details and we will fix.

Thanks for clearing that up. As a programmer myself, I can understand that. Its not of my business, but I think you guys should definitly clear that up officially on your website. It might be because I am a programmer, as soon as I opened quantower, I thought "protrader?". With that thinking, seeing that protrader seems to be dead ( no support for years ), buying a quantower license ( especially lifetime ) creates the fear of quantower going the same way.

as for the bugs,

Its probably the main thing that kept me from protrader ( i did bought a protrader license but didn't renew when i discoverred this bug ) and keeps me from quantower. If you want, I can do screenshots with quantower, instead of refering a bug report on protrader.

I currently use sierracharts+lmax, with tickdata, and is rock solid. keeping the same "rock solid" tick chart bars is vital to me. the bonus point on quantower, is that it connects to the lmax web api ( so can put stop + target correctly, vs sierracharts that connects through fix ( so stops/limits are extra orders ) ( although that has an advantage also )).

Also, its weird that if I put a limit order, i cannot modify it. I have to remove it and add another.
