Would love to hear your views on this. Is it better to have a -0.25R loss on each trade consistently when my stop is hit.
Or to have a -1.0R loss consistently, on each trade my stop is hit, but am risking more on these trades than compared to the risk amount used in the -0.25R loss per trade mentioned above. The distance between the stop loss and entry is the same for both -0.25 loss and -1.0R loss. Also the ability to get a +1.0R does not change for either scenario of -0.25R and -1.0R. Also the entry and exits for each scenario are the same.
Which is better. The consistent small losses of -0.25R OR -1.0R
