In a sell trade right now after ABCD completed. Got in a little bit early. Sl @ BE +2. Will Put above structure after zone and 50% is broken.

Edit: Bulls showing a bit of strength. Put my SL 2 Pips above structure to protect my winnings.

Watching the EUR/USD 1M TF right now. Expecting the bears to push price into the golden zone and then for the bulls to resume their efforts. See chart below.

EDIT - looks like the bulls are getting started earlier than I expected...

Another one. Buy right after my sell was closed. No structure above. So looking atleast for a 1:1. PA will tell more.
Right now BE +11 Pips. 1:1 is reached. Momentum looking good for more.

Edit: PA looking spooky. Put my SL higher. so atleast 31 Pips secured.

Edit2: Stopped out for +31 Pips. Maybe I had should put my SL below the 38,2% in case of a shallow retrace. But I'm happy with the pips.
This could be a possible option for a reentry now. But I have to go, so no more trades for me today.

I hope the more expericend trader could analyse my trades and give me some hints and tips to get better.

As operated in TF 15M, I entered by breaking triangle, and divergence, however, in 1Hour the BAT, had given more pips, this is because, as Scott Carney says in Harmonic Trading Vol 2, "In the Bat structure , When the CD leg exceeded the B point, I was confident the price That action would test the 0.886 retracement of the XA leg ".

{quote} I understand exactly what you are saying and appreciate your comment. The ROE to every pattern is posted in the attachments section. Both a visual and the exact rules and trade management. I want and encourage anyone at any lever to post and ask questions. We are here to help and it's also the only measure we have that lets us know if the information is being absorbed correctly. Forget the patterns and learn to read the chart master the order flow and trading in general will become a lot easier.

Mr. Pip and traders,
I woke up this am to try to learn and practice how to read charts and interpret price action candle by candle as well as order flow as it my homework for now. Anyways, I started of by watching the PA video and the Swing Id videos. then when I got an understanding of what was being explained and decided to go through the pairs that were open in my laptop. I went through the EUR/USD, GBP/USD and then the EUR/JPY. So I decided to watch the EUR/JPY in the 1TF to practice just what I saw on the videos..
I couldn't help but recognize more things on the chart although I will focus only on trying to learn order flow. I soon began incredibly impressed with everything going on. I am not going any farther from my homework for the moment by I couldn't help appreciating some of the clues price was giving me. I haven't been this excited about forex since I began a year ago. Here I have attached what I have seen. I'm speechless and more motivated than ever:

Mr. Pip and traders,
When we are looking for confluece areas do we look for levels of support and resistance, other past prz's, clusters of fibonacci levels in a tight area..and if so: Does any one have a rule of thumb as to how many prz's for example make up for a good confluence zone? Also, with order flow..do we consider a switch of power in order flow once the bigger swing's 50 level is broken to the opposite side? Or do we just look at previous past PA with in an area worth so many pips in movement/ range? Thank you for your help. Tonete

Three trades placed yesterday.

USDJPY closed out early at 45.7 pips (went on to hit my initial set TP which was at the 61.8)

Note the bounce off the trend line (after a series of previous touches and bear power drying out!)

Anticipated a long trade...........

GBPJPY - currently about 50 pips

**still running, expect more to the upside (pink line is a potential TP area for an AB=CD) but will monitor trade and exit if PA dictates**
Initial SL was close to the weekly pivot but as trade progressed I have tightened up my stop (chart attached)

GBPUSD - currently more than 40 pips - shorted this with a very good entry (SL position has not been changed)

**keeping a close eye on order flow and managing the trade....its progressing well at this stage...SL to be moved down soon to lock in partial profit**

Note: The Cable trade is expected to be met with some resistance @WR1 so order flow and direct PA will be closely watched!

Price Action, order flow and harmonics working very well!

Good trading,

Well, I made some pips tonight. There is nothing at all strategic about these exits. I noticed that my account was finally back at a level I had been wanting it to be, so I took the money and ran. I may kick myself for that later, right now it's just nice to see some green arrows, lol. There were harmonic-structure-price action reasons for entering the trades, at least.

On further analysis of the GBPUSD trade it is clear that the weekly resistance level almost coincides with the 38.2 retracement of the initial upward leg.

This suggests that the SL should be tightened up considerably since based on order flow a 38.2 retracement is much more likely and this is probably the appropriate place to take profits.

If the trade closes above the previous hours candle high then the trade is likely to be exited for just over 30 pips.

Otherwise I'll let the trade run south

33 pips locked in on the GBPUSD trade.....expected PA to take out the trade soon!

SL moved to BE+5pips for the GBPJPY trade...........

GBPJPY trade currently at 60 pips in profit

I have decided to lock in 30 pips and let it keep running which is in line with managing a profitable trade since order flow is still looking great for the long side with only minor levels of resistance to overcome.

Lower TF's (eg M15 as opposed to the H1) show changes in order flow direction however the long side is favored at this stage of the analysis.

Price has currently slowed in the WR1 (weekly resistance zone) around the 179.130 level so keeping a close eye on it!

Lets see how the trade progresses from here.
