So what do Genesis traders want ?

Do we want to keep this thread running, and true to RJ's philosophy ?

Or are we happy to move on and (for some) try another system ?

I will continue to trade my version of Genesis, I will not be changing.

But if there isnt any interest, no problem.

If it is to continue, it has to remain true to RJ's rules.

There are no changes, there are no other indicators.

If you think the Genesis indicators repaint, your postings/questions will be ignored.

Anyway, that's enough for now.

Stay true to the Genesis rules is best. It's RJ's system and he gave us his time and energy for it. Those who looks to change things are essentially 'new' to this thread. There needs to be a 'leader' but new guys with new indicators or modifications will only complicate things. Esp for those who are looking for a system to trust. The first page first post is the only thing people needs. Sure anyone can trade their Genesis, everyone has their modifications, but when posting, it would be ideal to uphold the standards RJ has put forward.

RJ has done this in the past (i believe last year or 1.5 years ago). He will be back. But when he came back, he had complete control and mod over the thread. I guess FF changed so much he has no more input on his thread.

Problem is if you look at the thread since RJ went gray, there has not been one chart posted per post #1 and the main discussions are about "How I don't trade GMTS per RJ". While it is sad, without RJ to monitor the thread the post are mostly about "how I trade", not about how I trade GMTS. So my answer to your question is "The thread will not survive"

New members who are not following post #1 are confusing things INDEED...
When most systems fail,this system outperforms.
Nothing has changed,so we have to be patient and follow our Great Genesis thread as per RJ's philosophy.
Hi all, I'm not a big poster but silent follower and student, and i think it's better doing like me than breaking the rules of this great thread, or making questions that have been answered many times in the past, (hey we have a great searching tool available) just my opinion.

I don't know what will happen from now on, but I know that this thread has been great, and the big help it gave me in my learning curve as a trader, and i'm sure it's the same for many others.
So the only thing i can say is just thank you all, from my heart.
P.S. i agree with Marty, if we ignore who breaks RJ rules, the thread could survive, just keeping the good work, my 2 cents.

I'm continue to do my Genesis trade. Genesis Trade is not only Genesis matrix 4 color buy 4 sell. For me, Genesis Matrix Trade system is RJ's knowledge and the teachings. I learn realy to much things from he.
If I have chance. I want to follow him. wherever he will write.

I have been wondering for some time how long this excellent thread could continue, actually. Recent months have been very quiet, almost disappointing for those who have been spoiled in the past. Old users have found their way and it seems they come here mostly (but not only) to meet old friends. Many strugglers, time wasters and “innovators” have gone (mainly thanks to effective policing) and newcomers are daunted by the task of going through literally thousand of pages or face the rage of the policemen.
Is there anything else this thread can achieve?
Thinking about what Marty says, perhaps at this stage one option would be to transform it into a sort of trading journal, where people can show what happens and what could be achieved by using the original, unchanged and unchangeable system? In doing so they could also provide some of their analysis and snippets of wisdom and experience that have been another huge plus of this thread.
Just a thought.
Anyway, whatever happens, I would always have a big debt of gratitude to RJ, the Team, the developers and the contributors for this fantastic system. I feel a big sense of loss if I think that all this may end. Like most of the “old timers” here, I use my own version of the system (hence my lack of charts, posts, etc.- I am with Lio46 on this), but the core (good 85% of the original system) is there. It has been the best system I adopted for years….and it has been free. Thank you with all my heart.
It is sad to hear RJ leaving . thank you for starting and maintaining this great thread. If u leave and let every one post this thread with charts with full of additional indicators, this thread also will be a ordinary FF shitty thread. Thank you again RJ, Good luck

Most thread's participants don't even understand that running a big popular thread is VERY time-consuming! If you do it the right way it becomes almost a part-time job! I know that because I used to run several big popular Russian threads. I never was running more than one thread at the same time, but nevertheless I swear to God - it took 2-4 hours per day! I think it is OK if it is fun (or using your words if it is a pleasure), but if it is not fun anymore you'd better get rid of this pain in the ass! You'd better spend this time enjoying the fruits of your labor, you really DESERVED IT!

Yep me too, I trade every weekdays except Monday. I ll post trades here till this tread stays alive. What we can do is ignore the people who don't accept RJ's Rules .

That being aside, I was wondering if anyone has trading the long term especially M30 time frame. I found it recently, just trading conservatively on M30 for a month one can easily meet the monthly target of 600+ pips. it harldy takes between 8 to 10 trades in a month to achieve this.

Why I am saying this is because, there may be few people in this thread who are working day time and also trading in the process. I think M30 trading (or may be H1) would show a lot of encouragement to those who are in that position. And of course there is a drawback of huge SL in the process and also unexpected dry spell which can eat up the account. just a thouhght.
