You can see what is MARKET VOLATILE SIGNAL.If a indicator can not show this,you should drop it into the dustbin.

After the NFP,Market steps into the new cycle,which will be much more volatile.

1. Last cycle analysis.Price of Pairs were in consolidations in the last cycle.
2. Volatility got more and more volatile.
3. Price will be back into main-trend with higher volatility.Be cautious of checking Direction of Market.

What can you get from the Market Volatile Signals?
Or you should ask"what if there are no market signals?".
After getting the Market Signals,you can check the market volatility as one.
Or you can use USDX to take sight into the whole market.That is true.But you can not trade the USDX.Right?

Pairs are shocked by the same mode,just like performance of VRIs. But the after-shocks of pairs are not all the same.
After NFP,after-shocks of JPY,EUR and CHF knocked the VRIs heavily down. After all,there are obvious differences on these pairs as the graph below.

In theory of Maths,persistence of Shocks are very different on different pairs.

1. Situation C:Shocks followed by another shock.The volatility will be much more higher.
2. Situation A:Shocks followed by long persistence.The volatility will last long.
3. Situation B:Shocks followed by short persistence.The volatility will soon fade away.

Just as the graph below.And the Aftershock of CHF is similar as Situation C.Details as the graph above.

So let's check the shocks after(including) NFP.

There are five shocks,including one NFP shock and four aftershocks.

So let's check these shocks one by one.
Now the first shock of NFP.
Obviously,the GBP took path C and the EUR took path B.

Let's check the path C again.Shock takes price a sudden surge,for example.After that,price slides quickly to the beginning of the surge.You can take it as another shock.So VRI can't recover from the over-volatility immediately or continues going down.That means the shock can't match with the market trend.Or you can say the market can't the shock into the expectations.So the Aftershock of path B is easy to forecast.

About Path B,it is easy to understand too.Shock knocks VRI down into the over-volatility.After that,VRI gets back into the consolidation ZONE quickly.It means market trend takes this shock in expectation.So if you want some long position,pairs on path B is better than that on Path C.

The second shock and the first aftershock.

Just as we see,GBP underperformed EUR on Path C.And in the first aftershock,GBP showed us another surge on Path B.EUR got a plain sailing on another Path B.The spread between them went wider.

The third shock and the second aftershock.
In this shock,GBP and EUR went both on Path C.To some extent,Comparing with EUR,Path of GBP was similar with Path B.On VRI window,you can see the GBP'speed of recovery from over-volatility is faster than that of EUR.

This made GBP outperforming EUR temporarily.After that,GBP was back into Path C again.It is big burden on GBP to pass two periods of Path C.

In the third aftershock,GBP went out of the burden of path C.The two pairs got a SOME correlation with each other.

In VRI window,You can see the two got convergence. But Path of them are very different.Now It is GBP's turn to be on Path A,which is similar with Path B.And EUR were on Path C.

You can see two shocks knocked the VRI down heavily twice In VRI window of EUR.

Here we'd better check the Path C again.Typical Path C.Just as the following graph,GBP went on Typical Path C in first two shocks.Here EUR got another type of Path C.In that,price got shocked again.But it is in the direction of main-trend.In VRI windows,they are similar.But tracks of price has so much difference.It seems that market trend takes the shock into the expectation.But it is not the truth or not the whole truth.The Half of truth may be that shock takes the expectation in.Another half is expectation can not take this shock in.So price went on way of shock,not on way of main-trend. So SAME VRI PATTERN TELLS SAME STORY.

And check for Path A.

Path A is simple Pattern of VRI. Shock knocks the VRI down into the over-volatility.Market takes this into expectation while VRI recovers quickly into the consolidation ZONE of VRI window.At same time ,the strengthened expectation takes price in the way of main-trend.In this way ,you can say that the shock launched the main-trend,but not generates the main-trend.
In my opinion,SHOCK CAN'T GENERATE ANY TREND.it is just a impulse,referring to the surge in very short time.

So it is very important for GBP to get out of Path C and take a way of Path A.
For EUR,something must be opposite with GBP.

Now the four aftershock.
We can easily recognize GBP's Path A.What'S THE TYPE OF EUR's Path?It is likely to be Path C.

Path A means high trend persistence and Path C refers to a vulnerable path.

So we can find some similar pattern of VRI. And you can what you should expect about the Path C of EUR.

Note:Last graph is the exception of Path C.

The exception is located at 1 March,2017.We can see there are three patterns similar with Path C.
The last two are typical Path C.The first one's pattern is somehow not the typical Path C.There is something like Path A.

1. For GBPUSD,it is positive till now.
2. For EURUSD,it is negative.But it has a obvious slide down.So maybe a drawback is on its way.
