Disliked{quote} You misunderstood what I was trying to say...Philip Capital isn't the Red Pill; i stoch's idea is the Red Pill which we're all afraid to take...He's proposing the idea of calling an interested broker to let them know that many retail traders are interested in doing business with them if they started a true ECN/Currency Exchange...Maybe he's overly optimistic or excited about the idea, but I don't think he's promoting the company itself. Let us know If there's another broker interested in offering a decent ECN/STP/Exchange experience to Retail...Ignored
They did not say yes and they did not say no. That tells me that it might be possible, if they can see clearly through to a way of recovering start-up costs and running a successful (profitable for them) Exchange. If I were them, I'd certainly want to know as much as possible about the interest level among active Retail Traders before making that move.
Anyway, I'm done with this topic on this forum. If people want it, they will get involved, make their voices heard and hopefully get something done. But, I cannot tolerate stubborn and foolish Traders who don't use common sense and better judgment, especially when there is opportunity to benefit the entire Forex Trading Community in the U.S. - a community that was a part of for well over a decade.
All the best to you and the others who see the potential light on this subject. I hope PhillipCapital comes through for you and disrupts the current bucketshop status quo. It needs disruption and transformation into something far more fair for the Forex Spot Trader here in the United States.
Goodbye!
