A very bad entry, that should not be sold below, however mmtum bearish strength in all TF, I decided to go without waiting for the rebound.
Had monitored the pair, and the correct entry, ok, was in 5M. Being so fast, I checked the pictures, but I could not post them.
TF used, 1M + 33pips.

Thanks Bary. Yeah I can get the same. I thought about re-entering the trade I lost at a better price due to all the wicks on the 5 minute chart but didn't. Also though there is red news for CAD coming up and not sure the impact it will have on GU.

I took it on the next retrace to that area.

That is definitely not where you'd normally enter a short trade, but green pips!

I have been on the sidelines today so far, a bit tentative about entering into a ranging GBPUSD market. That said, looks like it is trying to break up now.

Hi Bary,

I got burned many times when I missed an entry and then jumped in as soon as price returned to that area. Now, I force myself to ask the questions: why has price returned to this area again and so soon? Has it invalidated my entire premise for the trade?

I know it is very easy for me to say this with the benefit of hindsight, but that was a very significant bull candle that pushed price back into your entry zone. It wiped out several bearish candles in one move.

I hope you don't mind the observation.

Goodafternoon everybody,

No trades for me today. Was watching the morning session but didnt like anything on the GBPUSD.
So will be back on Monday.
Wish everybody a nice weekend!
For me , I like to have momentum on my side.
My assumption for a selloportunity Euro in 1.1200 - 1.1220 was correct and should have given me a profit with propr MM ,but I did not take it because of increasing upside momentum.Hope this helps.
