Thanks.
I probably was wrong for saying anything about backtesting the EA.
Wasnt trying to cause any confusing in the thread.
I will go back to watching the progress of the EA from the sidelines.

It good to know there isnt a self appointed thread sherriff in this thread unlike the other one, that starts foaming at the mouth, curseing and flaming people.If they dont completely share his point of veiw on everything.

Thanks for the hard work on the EA.

@ GT_Pips,

for what it is worth,you are not wrong.
Backtesting as always been part of trading.
It seems you are new here,this is how we have been doing things here,Seller is like the driver,he does the most work and we tell him how we feel about what he has/had done.
he also ask us all questions too,when he needs clarification on some things.
here people just ask questions and anybody that feels like to answer will do.
If you go back in the thread you will see what i am saying.
it is like a cool silent family here...

so feel free...no silly or stupid questions here...just ask and you either get or don't get an answer.(but most times you get)... lol
even you will notice that he just answered me coolly and i replied him coolly.thats the way we roll...

It's all good.

Cheers.

I am open to any ideas that will make the EA better, many heads are better than one. So far I haven't seen anyone get nasty with anyone so we all are doing real good and hopefully can work a winning end and make some money.

Hopefully anyone just joining will read the thread before asking any questions.

Good Luck and post any ideas or results.

CCI 22
or 34 Trade only when crosses over or under 100 levels anything between = No Trades / SLEEP mode also good for staying out of choppy markets

Long Trade > +100 cross
Short Trade < -100 cross

Entry signal (Red line) and Exit signal when it recrosses (yellow line)

you said it, to give some ideas

you can see below in my screenshot that i have the custom CCI indi but i put the MT4 default CCI as an example to show it could be added easily so no one has to download an extra indicator.

Hi Maxzeus, I'm currently using your v.16 setfile but for some reason, the EA is in sleeping mode and wouldn't place any trades. Would you be able tell me how to fix this problem? Much appreciated.

it's because the Trading hours i have is this below you just need to change them to whatever you want now it's sleeping until 1 your time

Step_8d=Morning Hours 0-12
start_hourm=1
end_hourm=12

Step_8e=Evening Hours 12-24
start_houre=12
end_houre=16

For AUD pairs i have 20-24 instead of 12-16

Hi All, greetings. I really love TMS and would like to know whether it's possible to do an EA for my method below:

I posted it on here... http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...91622&page=845
at post #12674

These are my rules:--

ENTRY~
Rule #1 on TDI, buy when green line cross above red line and it must be above or crossing yellow line; sell when the opposite happens.
Rule #2 On TDI, green line must be below 68 for buy; above 32 for sell.
Rule #3 on Stochastic, blue line must be above red line for buy; the opposite for sell.
Rule #4 on Stochastic, blue line must be below 80 for buy; above 20 for sell.
Rule #5 on PA chart, a big portion of the candle must cross 5MA yellow line accordingly (cross down for sell; cross up for buy).
Rule #6 on PA chart, the candle color must be consistent with the signal: blue for buy; red for sell.
Rule #7 on PA chart, the entry signal is only valid at 1st or 2nd candle closing (except for bouncing off, see Rule #8).
Rule #8 on TDI, if green line touches red line and bounce off it at candle closing (didn't cross but move away from red line), then enter the trade accordingly (buy if it's above red line; sell if it's below).

EXIT~
Rule #1 Set trailing stop 25 pips for EU and GU, 15 pips for the rest.
Rule #2 Set SL at previous candle HH (sell trades) or LL (buy trades).
Rule #3 Set TP at 100 pips for EU and GB, 80 pips for the rest.

I include yellow line in TMS 'coz I think it's good to filter out fake set up's

Any advice or comments or critics are very much appreciated

If this is your first time using an EA.
If you want to see an alert box popup, you need to check the alert box option.

Its the weekend the EA is tired from a hard week of looking for trades.lol.

Seriously tho,from the last page of the user manual that seller9 wrote it states.
"Sleeping means the Robot is not within the Window Time and is sleeping and waiting for the next Window to look for a trade. "
So im going to say, since its the weekend and the markets are closed.
Its going to take the time to get some sleep.

Yes, check that box.

Since the EA uses incomming Tics to run, when they stop at market close the EA will stay at that spot until the markey opens again and Tics start comming in again.

Checked....and it seems to be working and on a couple of pairs is "looking for a trade" thanks again for your prompt reply...

i quickly checked your rules and the EA that seller9 created, it already has all that and more, you just need to read the highly detailed PDF and set the rules/settings you want according to your rules above.

heres Seller9's post of everything required for this EA #1437
