DislikedTheir manual may be outdated or wrong, this can happen. But if you're using the demo then 'just push the buttons' and see what happens for yourself.
If you want to sell/buy @market, just push the big flashy (price) buttons; and if you want to have applied e.g. slippage by default (even market orders) then you have to indicate so in the preferences (menu bar/tools/preferences etc).. For specific questions regarding the platform why not go to their support forum and ask there what ever comes to your mind?Ignored
DislikedI was testing their demo for a conditional Take Profit where I set the bid and I think that is what the manual was referring too, that it is OK to adjust for slippage but if I were to set a bid, which I just did, then I could only do it with 250k and up. My demo did accept my 100k bid though and took profit when the conditions were met, even though the manual states I can only do that with an amount of 250k or higher.Ignored
DislikedI put bid/offer live of 10k size and it's ok, tested with 1k and it was accepted to.

DislikedAnyone know if the "Swaps" column on the Dukas position report includes the rollover fees? I'm thinking "Swaps" is the Rollover fee?Ignored
DislikedPT multistation is a pretty good platform which can be used to trade with your Ducascopy account, and is free - looks like it's based on the front-end of the ProTrader brokerage platform.Ignored
DislikedWhat do you think about this platform? Ive used it for a few weeks with a different broker.. Not a huge fan of the charts but like it how you can customize just about anything. Also being able to log on to any broker with a few clicks is pretty sweet. The PTL building seems a lot better than MT4s builder.Ignored
DislikedYeah, they say that its PTL Builder IDE can import your existing MetaTrader (MQL) and EasyLanguage strategies.
Only think is that its still completely free until they finish testing it (PT multistation, that is) - should that be worrying?Ignored
DislikedDukas switching to fractional 1/10 spacing - you can see it in demo. Confirmed by support. It's interesting to compare how real liquidity that is shown in demo is mapped to 1/2 5-decimal spacing that is now in effect.Ignored
DislikedAs you know, many traders are comfortable trading with MT4 and many are also using automation for trading. So, Dukascopy decided some time ago, to work on implementing MT4 by adapting the code that was developed for market makers to their ECN business model. This simple project turned out to be a real challenge as Dukascopy will not make any concession about the concept of ECN.

DislikedWill Dukas still keep their MT4 for charting purposes do you know?
I've dependent on the MT4 indicators and I want to use their MT4 for charting and jforex for entries.Ignored
