Please don't heap scorn on me. I am still studying and learning this system so I have not posted on here for a while. I know this has nothing to do with the Igrok system, but I post it in the hope that Igrok still reads these threads. The below link is a link to video advert and a pressure group which wants the Tobin tax introduced. I don't know if many of you know about this, but if introduced it could effectively kill our type of trading. Igrok, if you read this post please comment with your thoughts on this. I know the idea has been around for a long time, but do you think there is any chance of it being implemented in the current political climate? Also as someone with great knowledge and experience of the markets and the industry as a whole, if it is implemented, will it be the end of short term speculative trading?

PS. I hope I don't get berated for an offtopic post. My apologies to all.

Interesting read Pipdreamer. Sure this doesn't sound good for us if it goes through.

Here is another link to the top of the page and the actual article, not the bottom of the page!

Aediaz1 this Tobin tax idea is being supported by Sarkozy, Brown and some of the other major European leaders. It is also reportedly even supported by George Soros. I think the chances of it getting through are very slim as the US is currently opposed (though some Democrats are trying to push for it) and it would require a lot of International co-operation. Lets just hope the stupid politicians listen to sense instead of trying to please the angry mob who are just trying to get back at bankers for their economic woes.

the middle part of the broadening triangle looks malformed (incorrect sequence; did not touch the upper line, price range around the 79.70-90 area).

Anyone else got sore shins from kicking themselves? Anyone??

Missed this one cable as I was out-to-lunch (in more than one sense).

Not only a TL, but symmetry as well.
