aj short ( thanks 5x for bringing it to my attention) was based on reducing volume going into flag break out = bull trap ( how many went long on that to lose 50 pip) .. it formed an evening star ... simple simple trade

90 on ym , 100 on gj and 60 on aj into close ... great last 1 hour

I hear you .... it was a very choppy market today .... day traders who knew what they were doing and got in at the right times did ok ... others who think they are day traders ( the trending market has made many of those in the last few weeks) likley lost a bunch today

I did not know that site had something to read

On GJ I never believe a bull or a bear setup until i see it on a 4 hour chart or a daily chart.

with 4 hour crying for a short, i can't long here.

overall i had an enjoyable week, just too many swing pips.
twee banned me so i left

Choppy market, but you can still make money. Here's my 5 minute scalping chart. Last weekend I posted my 30 minute medium-term chart. I'm still an amateur, but hopefully someday I will be as good as some of the posters here. Anyway, I hope others can still learn from my busy chart.

Basically, we have a LSWPR (14), RSI (9), RSI (3) multi-timeframe [15 min], Zero Lag MACD (4,7,9), MACD Crossover Alert, and Demark Lines. Enter when at least 2 of the lower indicators agree. It's even better if 3 of them agree, though. Exit when 2 agree or on a macd cross.

I'll attach the indicators here if anyone wants to try them. I put red and green vertical lines to show you the entry and exit points, but normally they aren't on the chart. The MACD Crossover Alert rings when the macd crosses. The Demark Lines automatically draw the white trendlines.

The RSI I have here has a built in alert so it rings when it crosses down the 65 or crosses up the 35. Right now it turns red when it crosses up the 65 and turns green when it crosses down the 35. If anyone here knows how to modify this attached RSI file so it would only turn red once it crosses down the 65 or turn green when it crosses up the 35, it would help us all, and I would be very grateful.

The RSI really helps me a lot and thanks to Malcolmb14 for showing us how he uses it.

very cool BUT if you could get that on a 3 min or 2 min chart in this market you will get in closer to the bottoms and tops .... one of things that has happened to nm recently is my trading has evolved to the next level , where as you can see form postings I make i can get almost bang on tops and bottoms .. this is by using a 2 min and 3 min chart

I wish I could, but I don't know how to do it on metatrader4. Do you know how to make a live 2 min or 3 min chart? I don't like the offline way that metatrader uses to make custom timeframe charts.

I think it can be big difference,,,as jap is only 0.5 originally....0.3 to 0 is like a more than 50% cut...

I think they must do so, as to not create a collapse. every country must slash rates, meaning yes carry could be viable YET everything will stay the same as everyone comes down. Risk is still very hi and a bottom not seen yet over the mid term to cpl 3 years out. And looks grim globally. It will be sideways to slow declines for some time,
Equities bottom will be tested again next week IMO. No strength will be seen and if it is it will be sold into. Real money is scared still to come to the table. Why invest to lose. Carry is dead even if Yen pays u to take their money. BUT ST traders can really make a ton in this volaility.

My advice learn the scalp, if u can even call 100-200-500 tics a scalp
advance the indi's to meet the times before us. Preemptive strike entries are almost as good as gold yeilding hi returns, But NIMBLE is the word.

good morning

likely built in .. look at this daily....

the three green candle then a red candle which almost looks like an engulfing candle

this looks like a reversal to me

note the way the volume was lower on the third green candle = NO demand bar
