DislikedHi Guys. I am a newbie to this thread and would like to become an active member. I am from South Africa, but live in the Ukraine at the moment. I am a quantitative analyst by day and mainly do contract work for Telecomms and Retail Groups. But, I also used to work for a High Frequency Stat Arb Hedge Fund for almost 10 years so I have some experience. We focused on trading very specialized forms of Equity Baskets called Quads (that is a whole other discussion for another day). I have had a look at what Eugene has built over the last (think it is...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Welcome to the thread and Eugene's DashBoard. Eugene has been developing this code over many years and we are lucky to be able to benefit from all his hard work for free, although if you start to make money from the DB, I'm sure he would appreciate a contribution which I intend to do when that occurs. I expect to go live after New Year with at least one account setup, I have a few setups showing reasonable performance over longer periods (4months+).Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi JustUncle, I have a quick question. In terms of the Trailing SL Pip Lock in HAS TS, can i do something like this (see screenshot): So the idea is that as the trade initiates and goes against you, you immediate have a trailing lock at 200 pip for protection (like a worst case scenario SL) and then as soon as it goes higher the next set of pip locks kick in. What I basically want to know is, can i enter negative values? regards H {image}Ignored
DislikedOK I have a similar issue on a shorter time frame and im very confused. DB seems to block signals (dont know why, because i have no extra filers switched on) and TS is signalling a trade and it should take the short trade but it does not. Heeeelpppp !! Thank you in advance.. regards H {image} {image}Ignored
DislikedGene What are the issues of setting your DB at a lesser time frame than the TS?? HIgnored
DislikedOK Guys, I tested the HAS TS today. Tested: - HAS (Direction entry and Has opp exit) + BO +PipLock - 2 X HAS settings (2.6.2.3 & 1.21.1.13) - and 3 time frames: M15 , M30, 1H I stuffed up big time and set DB time frame to D1 for all 6 DBs and that made me miss a huge amount of trades so dont really know what the day would have looked like, but here are my results: Seems shorter time frames work much better than longer time frames. {image} {image} {image} {image} {image} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} It might be a good idea to get the latest DB version (currently V15) from Seller9. Just send him an email request for V15 of the DB, that way we are all on the same page when comparing DB results.Ignored
