{quote} I found the source code, and I recompiled it. Here is a new version (1.01) which in my test works without any problem on non-gap Renko charts. {file}

Thanks MT7 but no sell or buy order opens after attaching the expert, I already unchecked offline chart box from chart option, and leave the expert with original settings. could you check it if there is some thing wrong ?

I have tested Version 1.01, and it works fine! The ADX must be greater than ADX Threshold. Check the input settings of the EA and make sure they are the same as the indicator values you have attached to the chart.

hi, please help, on the gold where there are quotes 3 decimal places ea works, but if borker has quotes 2 decimal places ea does not work. This is important because the broker with 2 decimal places has a much smaller spread. please help

{quote} So sorry Matt. That is the misunderstanding. No trade should be taken >90 or <10. I just want to go back to my first post where I stipulated the entries and as I don't know how else to do it, I will post this one now and come back to it shortly. Thanks for understanding. Hercs.

Then you need to revise the description of your strategy and whenever you are sure it reflects what you want the EA to do, come back to me. I will try to help you.

Hi Matt,

Once again my sincerest apologies, but if you care to look at my Post 521, I clearly explained what my strategy is. No change to that at all.
No trades when the RTH >90 or <10.

I appreciate your help and looking forward to hearing from you in due course.
Best wishes,
Hercs.

Okay, let's check the strategy step by step together:
1. For a valid BUY signal the value of RTH must be less than 90 and greater than 82, (82 < RTH < 90), is this right?
2. For a valid SELL signal the value of RTH must be less than 18 and greater than 10, (10 < RTH < 18), is this right?

==========
#1. RTH >50 for a valid long and <50 for short.
The 90/10 levels are there to stop late entries.

Thanks Matt.

This is version 1.04 of the EA with following updates:

1. RTH levels are updated, 50 < RTH < 90 for BUY, 10 < RTH < 50 for SELL;
2. Continuation signal is added (Type F in your original post);
3. Exit will be on opposite arrow (not opposite signal);
4. Display bug fixed.

Best,
Matt

Good morning Matt,

First trade of the day on EURUSD_M2 (testing phase as my trading is done on M6), but an absolute gem of an entry.
I will add the US30 as soon as the first trade is taken there as well.
Continued success to you and a grateful heart on my behalf.
