GBP-USD M30. We are on an h4 bear channel within a daily downtrend. In time frame m30 the price has crossed the support, has tried to go down, and when it returns to the important area that is now a resistance, it has left a wick up, and that is when I entered a short. I have placed a stop loss at 15 pips, above the resistance zone in case things do not happen, as you know this is a game of probabilities, within which we believe we have a statistical advantage.

EUR-USD M30, In this pair the same has happened as in gbp-usd, so they are correlated. A bearish channel, within a daily downtrend and that is why we are only looking for shorts. The price crossed the support or important area, and when in time frame m30 has wanted to return and has left a wick, I have entered short, and when it paused not a recoil, I leave another wick up I have opened another operation in short, In the two operations I have put the stop loss above the important area, because the price can do what you want and we do not want to lose more than 15 pips, but if you go for about 40 pips that is the distance where the next important support is located .

Hi guys, just spotted this pull back to a good resistance zone on the 4hr.
Its a shame i may miss an entry point as i will probaby be asleep.

Hi guys looking at this pullback to a bit of resistance.
On the 4hr its in an upward channel, so looking for that to break and have a pull back with continuationto enter a short.
Edit: However i just spotted a problem with this, it has pulled down to a big support on the weekly/monthly so will not be looking to trade short.

I am watching this too. It seems to be trading in between a channel. My plan was to wait for it to break the channel to enter a trade for certainty.. What made you already enter it? Thanks

The main thing is the liquidity zone or area of high probability that the price will bounce, if in the past the price passes through this area with difficulty, so make the decision to enter. Another point is that the channels can also be operated, and the advantage is that an even tighter stop loss can be managed. As time the price has bounced several times within the same channel, which is a good option to take advantage of the footprint left by the price.

So the fact it hasn't had a huge momentum shove on its way up to it, you are not worried about it breaking though?
