I forgot to mention that the above demo account started at 50,000. So, the gain is 570.44 in 12 days.
I am testing on multiple different markets such as; Gold, oil, indexes & crypto.
For crypto currencies, I found 30 min works very well. But you need to be very careful with the lot size and only run it on the main currencies. So, gain is 809.63 since 7-16-19. Plus, not all brokers have the same spread or provide a market 7x24.

Hey cdk1212, way to go, looking positive.

Just to let you know I gave up on Silver and Copper 15 min due to bad results on backtest. Maybe if more TFs were used it would be better.

Here is the Kijun slope added EA.

Go to first post to download the three indicator updates needed to make it run.

Good luck to all.

I have only changed the position sizes and everything else is off, except that I am forward testing the Kijun on gold 15min.

To observe the behavior of Kijun Filter- I am looking at 1 Minute Charts with the EA. Might have found a bug- Want to run it by you-

Chris,

Kijun Slope is acting as an Exit. If the full candle closes beyond the Kijun slope the exit triggers.

There isn't further any other additional condition like: Body Close beyond the Slope+ Kijun Slope should also be golden color for closing sell trades.?

Thanks

Hi Chris,

Can you please tell me how the volume indicator works?
On the volume indicators available in MT 4(especially in mobile) which volume indicator can be useful? OBV?

As I understand it, the volume data you receive from your broker will be independent from other brokers. The idea is that each brokers client base are doing similar trades so it should be a fair representation of the actual volume, although a piece of a larger jigsaw.

Chris,

There is one trading scenario that might need addressing. We are implicitly assuming that Price will be below Kijun Slope when a Sell trade is triggered.

In cases where a Sell Trade is triggered and Price is already above Kijun Slope when this happens-Even if price keeps going up- the Kijun Slope exit might not trigger because the price is already up and the exit logic looks for the crossing of the slope and closing of the full candle.

I will look for trade examples where this could be a problem. Please do look out for this kind of scenario as well.

EDIT: Buy Trade on USDCAD, when Price is already below the Kijun Slope.

EDIT: The Buy Trade was closed even though price is going in our favor. I thought that the Kijun Slope exit would not trigger-but it looks like in scenarios where price is below the kijun slope when the buy is triggered-the EA seems to close the trade after few candles- I will keep looking for more examples.

So this is a kind of moving average cross of actual broker volumes?

Already way ahead of you aaven

The logic coded for the Kijun is if a trade is opened but we are already on the wrong side of the Kijun line the EA will wait for, at least, a touch of the Kijun line before looking for a full candle close.
