{quote} Good point Alan, could you please clarify how many hours the 'zone' is? Cheers

It varies from day to day, this was about six hours or so and terminated with the Bull div at the bottom

How's this charting working out for everyone? Interested to dig in, but this will be my 1st charting setup so I want to know if it's even worth my time.

It is definately more than worthwhile to dig into it if you want to learn how to trade. Trading itself is not for everyone though.
Please note I am not the guru here

Absolutely worthwhile.
I started out on this thread 3 weeks ago. I've been making solid pips from last week till today. Heck, even today I've reached my personal target (Tweaked the money management suited for me at the moment). As Alan mentioned in his very early posts that this method will make you a much better trader overall in terms of gauging the market. Can not agree more!
Is it too soon to start an appreciation thread for Alan?

I can find some good entries LIVE actually. But I get stopped out, since I want to keep my risk around 50$/0.4Lot/1th. step. After the SL hit, the move begins... Scream...

I don't want to dilute the concept MM here, but I get a bit in love with Alanīs Quartille "SL/TP" tool.

Alan, what do you think about if I would combine your Cable-concept with Quartille? It is a different SL/TP situation and would produce lesser profit per day. But it could help me probably to "widen" the action range? It would be further even a bit more mechanical and lesser dependent on 1+2+3 confidence rising levels.

Advice?

Can you please introduce us this tool? I have certainly read it in some posts in this thread but don't have much idea what and how to use it.

How is Polly by the way? Have not heard from her for a while

Here you see me using it on the 30min chart to show where the 50% retrace level is at so I can go long if the signal is given on the 5 min which it was.
