IRUTM TMA Reversal Trading System (Part 1 of 6)
Earlier today I was suspended from FF -- I think it was the seventh time. It is not the fault of FF -- the admin has always been fair and supportive. Certain red badges have the power to temporarily suspend. The suspension then gets reviewed by a FF moderator who then makes a decision. I mention this for two reasons: First -- if I stop posting it's to let you know that I didn't bail -- I never quit. Even if the thread were to slow to a trickle I would continue to upload new indicators from time-to-time. And, second, I've been working on a new indicator that -- even though it is still a work in progress -- I have decided to begin sharing sooner rather than later. The indicator will likely piss off some people (hint: the ones that don't use indicators) and I will likely get suspended again. I don't know how many suspensions one is allowed before one's membership is revoked and related threads are shutdown.
Rather than post one huge, monolithic post I've decided to break this into several smaller posts. So -- here we go -- this should be fun
The new indicator goes further than any of the others I've shared. It is based on both TMA and ADR -- which is nothing new -- but it goes a step further in that it generates candidate signals for reversal Entries. You are still on your own for Exits, but it looks good for Entries. I have not tested it on a live account. It is hot out of the oven. I'm hoping with a little help any glitches can be ironed out and it can serve as the basis of a semi-automated trading system. If it survives testing, I might even convert it into an EA -- we'll see.
I'm calling the new indicator IRUTM Reversal Trading System. I'll leave it to someone clever out there to figure out what the IRUTM stands for.
