This tread which is called "Extreme TMA System" is got some good visual indictors which shows the extreme overbought or sold. Just a suggestion but adding FastTMALine to the EA would help so stop trades in the wrong direction.

Are you shure, that the EA works, because no trade last 3 days, at 1H, 15M and 5 M
Ive run the EA all week without a trade triggered.

I am 100% sure that it does not work yet . I have 0 trades opened with this version. However, this week I have some time to look at it.
However, I had some succes with Trade Managing after I opened trades manually with the scripts. This appears to be working fine.

Interesting. The set-up of indicators can take several seconds as it appears, but this is running in a separate thread so the ticks are already coming in while some indicators are still not ready in the background. When the message dissappears it means that the indicator is ready for use.
I will see if I can make the initialisation a bit better because it is a bit confusing. I have no influence on how MT5 works but I can manage the messages on the screen a bit better I guess.

LRSF EA version 2.06 wip 2

Solved a bug in the trend detection. The EA actually opened an order with this improvement.
Next week this version will be tested on all 28 pairs to see if it now starts trading automatically.

Solved another bug in the trend detection. The trend for the current timeframe was not detected properly.
For the working to the EA this should have no impact as the trend of the current timeframe is not taken into account. It was just annoying that the trend indication [***] would show a wrong trend for the current timeframe. That is now solved.

Hi, still no trade's this week with wp3. Also I think adding martingale has a parts of recovering trade would help a lot.
LRSF EA version 2.06 released

Solved another (major) bug in version 2.06 - It failed to open LIMIT orders to prepare for MEME.
The management of open orders now seems to work ok. Therefore I released version 2.06.
You can find the download in post #1.

I still have to start new orders with my scripts so automatic opening of new positions is still not working properly.
Any fixes in this area will be published as version 2.07 wip x.

Hi jansb000, I see the entry line, but hothing happend, I switch to 15 min Chart, because at 1H Chart not any trade this week.

I had this too. The entry line is drawn just before an order is supposed to be opened. The fact that the order is not opened means that the order is not accepted by the server, or the code for sending the order in the EA is not executed properly. I have seen cases where an order is not executed (because you can see that live in the order status as it happens). I even disabled parts of the evaluation code so that a trade would open even if just a trend is detected - and it would not open trades.

My conclusion for now is that 28 pairs in one terminal seems to be too much to handle for MT5. When I test cases like this with the debugger (on a separate system) the orders always open without problems. I have now moved my trading setup from my LINUX system to a Windows 10 system to see if it works better. Also I switched down the amount of pairs. Stick to H4 charts, because the signals are more stable.

PS: Later today I will publish a new update of the EA.
PS: Do you use my LRSF Monitor? It gives entry points that can be used in manual trading (but is very heavy for small computers).

that is correct. In stead of simply adding a lot of indicators (like in the MT4 version) I decided I would add the indicators 1 by 1 and make sure that they show valid data. I think that is what I have done. But you are correct that more should be added. The next step will be the stochastic indicator.
Having said that, with just the two given indicators you can already find some good entry points for new trades.

As you can read in the thread about the LRSF EA, I have improved on my trend analysis code in several small steps. That code is available in the monitor, and the EA. The problem in tha past was always that although the monitor showed a trend direction (or not) I often saw something different when I would check that particular pait manually. Now this rarely happens.

LRSF EA 2.07 wip 3

Solved a major bug that prevented the EA from opening new trades. While handling the OnTick() event, the EA sometimes thinks that the previous tick is still being processed. It then refuses to accept new ticks. This is now solved.

Just published wip version 1 for 2.08.

  1. Now shows the magic number in the left-top corner.
  2. When placing a new MEME order we do no longer add the Spread to the opening price. Just StopLevel is sufficient.

Hi,

instead of having a stop loss, why not have a Zone Recovery system. So if the trade goes wrong it can recover the trade because it will eventually go up or down for a large number of pips. So therefore you will never have a lost trade, ether break even or a good profit.
