Bought 1.1297 and 1.1298. SL at 1.1260. Reasons for this trade 1. Already 100pips done by London. Last time this happened last year N.Y. retraced the whole 100 pips and still sent it back the same way London went; it was a mad day that day. 2. There is a gap on my 15min chart around 1.1360. Maybe we see that number again. Ata, if I may ask, do these banks take "revenge" on each other? I mean like NY sent price to 1.144 on Wednesday and today London get angry and send price hurtling down to 1.1287? Hahahaha..

SL moved to BE for both trades. No risk! I'll look to join sellers at the right price. What a week I've had. Profits on every side, entering trades and having them move instantly in my direction. I'm grateful to God first, and this community for all the ideas I have gleaned from here.

Counting waves on M15:

We had wave 1, 2 and 3 correction.. (Or maybe an A, B and C)

Right now we are still inside the wave 3 (or C) and probably wave 4 of 3 (or C) is currently playing out. Once that is done a tiny wave 5 to the upside will complete wave 3 (or C). Then either down (if it was a wave C) or the real wave 4 will appear and bring price a little more down and later a final wave 5 up will finish the pullback. Time will tell.. as long as price stays above 1.12925 this wave count is valid.

Interesting. You have been around past few years I assume. Did you do it? Did it work out? Did you manage to call the right direction and stay with the trend for a season or 2 or 3?

So I woke up to see what the pair had been doing after the European data release. Had a short open from 1.1367 yesterday. Closed with +65 pips. But I noticed it was one fell 100-pip swoop after the data release. That’s twice in a week. Hope this heralds the end of the thumb-twiddling watch-the-paint-dry rave that’s been the last 6-8 weeks?! Please, Santa, puh-leez!

Again just bought 1.1303 with SL at 1.1283. TP open for now. I hope I'm not pushing my luck too far. Somehow I'm thinking N.Y. will send this price up by hook or crook.

Edit: SL quickly moved to BE.

That's why I often prefer to stay away from buying (scalping) a bullish correction.. there is always the chance of an early drop (unexpected expectedness )

Marking 1.1268 as next target. That level will be stronger support and might also be the low for this day and week. Time will tell..

Hi everyone,

haven’t been posting much here recently (been kept busy irl). I’ll take my chances with a counter trend now (M1 through to H4 is tapped out on momentum, I had 1.1280 marked as a level, time is about ripe for a NY retracement too).

Long 1.12831, SL 12 pips.

Only gunning for 15 to 20 pips here (though I’ll probably get stopped out earlier than that)

going into next week I’m thinking a revisit of 1.11x then 1.08.
You hesitate, you masturbate.

Okay, so I've been keeping mum on the situation and observing, but take a look at my chart from earlier this week, before the false breakout of the FOMC. It's apparent to me that this thing hasn't bottomed out yet. I see it double bottoming out around 1.17-1.15, before the trend reversal to the upside. In order of priority of which the market reacts most to:

1. Black swan event
2. News
3. Technicals

Meaning, when the ripples surrounding 1 and 2 are over, 3 remains. The ripples of 2 are about over, and we're back to technicals. We're also right on the cusp of a short cycle.
