Disliked{quote} This is absolutely my territory) It depends how serious you are, cos losing weight and/or body fat NATURALLY is actually easy, but you have to be dedicated to the cause, at least for as long as you want to appear ripped. Most people try to diet without really understanding body mechanics. Cut out SUGAR. It is enemy number one. That also includes simple carb's. People don't understand how carb's turn to sugar (glucose) in the body. Next, don't try to cut calories. There is no need. The body merely slows it's metabolism to match. Eat normally...Ignored
1. no sugar
sugar is part of life. that includes rice. telling an asian to not eat rice to avoid sugars is basically telling us not to breathe air! it's part of our gene to eat rice DAILY (at least once). but i do agree we need to stay away from refined sugars. i do eat a lot of packaged crap.
2. i don't think 36 hours is necessary to put the body in ketosis mode. you just need to put it at about 90% carb depletion, and working out to burn it. When the glucose levels are out, the body switches to fat for energy like you said (then protein being the final source). Ive done this before where i would do 20 minute weight session prior to breaking a 16 hour fast. it works just as effectively. but it does require A LOT of DISCIPLINE. i lost near 10lbs in the month i did that.
the rest i agree with. no need to cut calories. just eat healthier foods during feeding time and just go on a fast state the rest fo the day. I usually get 1-2 tbsp of peanut butter during the day and coffee just to avoid the hunger pangs (but maybe i should avoid food altoghether and just drink sips of water here and there).
