Disliked{quote} Thank you very much kprsa. Based on your great code, i made a small modification to fullfil my needs. Previously i do not understand where to start, but toDay i think i made it, still not sure how to get the pivot, i just take the Low or High value to calculate them. It is an example of EU with 1Min chart, could you please give any comment whether is it right or not ? Thanks {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} The pitchfork, basically an imaginary line on the screen (but drawn according to rules), becomes a price support. Random market my ass. k {image}Ignored

DislikedI'm curious what you thought of the Felipe Tudela book that you mentioned earlier in the thread. Having studied Elliott, Miner and Andrews, I found the revelation of the pivot counts pretty cool. Honma knew of it in the 1700's, Elliott and Prof Anderson ( Andrews math buddy at MIT) have all come to the same conclusion. But what I really like about Honma is the simplicity.Ignored
DislikedObjective trendlines (45 degrees lines) in the point and figure charts. Seem to be working quite well in the wild oil market. {image} (for more info see Jeremy du Plessis: "A Comprehensive Guide to the Theory and Practical Use of the Point and Figure Charting Method")Ignored

Disliked{quote} In principle any line is ok. I use the daily open. One can go fancy and use vwap or POC lines as well. In the end it should not matter too much. Chop avoiding: fractal dimension lower than 1.5. Alternative: breakouts from a range (i.e. using a Donchian channel or a BB). kIgnored
Disliked{quote} Thanks kprsa. care to say more about the fractal dimension lower than 1.5 ?not familiar with this concept. Thx.Ignored
