I don't believe there is any "system" that works, and so I'm not looking for it whether it sounds like I am or not. Here is what I am actually looking for; a few decent reasons why a profitable trader would charge money to teach others how to trade ...

Great points and yes not doing your research on the educator is the same as entering the market at random. talking about the amount of time one has been trading for - I think if a trader hasn't been funded due to not having enough months behind ...

That's my whole point of making this thread to ask why anyone would teach trading for a fee, it's just a discussion, a chance for us to get advice and see what others think about the common argument "good traders trade, bad traders teach". Maybe ...

Yep that's the premise I had when I opened this thread, hence why I wanted suggestions as to why someone good at trading would actually teach trading for a fee. There were some good reasons written above as to why, what do you think of those? That ...

Yeah I know what you're saying and hands on experience cannot be substituted. Maybe split it and do both - if you find a course worth taking, otherwise using the money (that you can afford to lose of course) on just trading is a very good idea.

Some good points guys. Thank you for those who replied (even the sarcastic ones!), you've helped me get my answer. I now feel confident throwing down a couple of grand on a teacher/course knowing they will teach me to become as profitable as them. ...

Lol I am asking a serious question as it is boggling my mind. Good mathematicians usually get paid more to teach mathematics than to do mathematics so it's worth their while, where as trading is more worthwhile to do than to teach how to do it - ...

That's useful to know Bob, I guess patience really is a virtue when it comes to trading. The likelyhood of each pullback being successful after the 24-72 cross becomes less and less likely so it is probably best to just trade the first pullback and ...

Yes I agree Bob, either one of the other. I personally watch 7 pairs so one setup is definitely most suited. I think with Cornflower on the one had the best trades may be soon after the cross because you are likely getting in at the beginning, ...
