My 2 cents analysis trend trading from 1995 to mid 2008 was the right way to trade , with only 2 trend change in 13 years ..... but since mid 2008 its a completly different ball game .... look at he chart below (monthly chart) since mid 2008 trend ...

in fact michael , the question i cannot answer is , fti always said "trade with the trend" meaning its the only way to trade successfully . i m not totally convince, trend follower or counter trend trader , why trend follower is working better ...
