Most all the brokers are using windows. I beleive you'll just have to contact each broker seperately to find out if there software will run on a Mac.

I had no idea you could connect to the FXCM server with Metastock. I was under the impression you had to use Reuters or some other data service. Is that what your referring to? I've used Metastock some and I know they have systems that backtest for ...

You might check the preferred brokers on this forum. Not sure exactly where but there are alot of comments about them. Also, it would be good to check there demos before going live to be sure you like the platform.

It's probably too late for this but most brokerages will transfer funds directly to another brokerage upon your request. Guess what-there is a charge for that as well. It might be better than 2.9%,however.
