Forex Rookie - I am laughing my a$$ off at you. I would imagine most other people reading your drivel feel the same. Your posts are a joke.

To me the star was either the ex-military chap or the woman who kept blubbing. Does Anton pay well?

Hi Taz, We don't know what price will do. But there are a couple of things that might help you: Is the recent action choppy or running smoothly? Choppier might suggest taking profits. Is there space to run? If no, this might suggest profit taking. ...

Well spotted Dan - a BEOB with a weak close LOL.

Hi Mel, In my opinion there's a lot to like there but it would have been no trade for me because it doesn't look like it broke (including buffer) the next day. I wouldn't have taken it because it's in and heading into quite a bit of traffic / ...

Hey Os, All I'd say is that's really not the greatest bar - quite small, doesn't protrude much etc. In my view the FTA is right on top of it as well. Personally, one I'd avoid.

M5? I think I'm in this. Not very happy though, little confluence. Plus I swore off M5. I've reduced risk and will probably just cut if it doesn't do something soon. EDIT: Closed it just better than BE. No confidence in it. EDIT: And now watch it go ...

Hi Ad, I know exactly what you're talking about LOL. There's plenty that take off without you, especially on short TFs or a fast tick chart. But I just try to look at it the other way - there's loads of good set ups just on this one market, so you ...

Hi, It stalled where you'd expect - at the top of that box of consolidation (previous resistance becoming support). Basically, you're trading straight into trouble there.

The way I would view (just my opinion) is that nothing knocked the trade off - the low of the bar was broken before the high, so the bar is invalidated. But Mike's answer above sets out why, although it's a pin, it's really just not a very good one. ...

EDIT: Mike jumped in with a better answer first. Curse him! Hi 666, That bar hasn't failed - it didn't break, so wouldn't have triggered using the standard approach. If you enter on a retrace, and a lot of people do, this is just one of the ...

Hi Adilius, You're right of course, but I think one needs to be careful. Nothing wrong with those set ups, but at the same time I don't think most people would classify them as great either - although I would have been tempted by the second one, as ...

Hi Fascist, The difference between the lows I make to be 4 pips on my feed. With a reasonable buffer (on daily maybe 8 - 10 pips) you wouldn't have been triggered in on this. Other than that, I can see there's things in it's favour - an RN (albeit a ...

Personally, I think it's about 27, plus gold and oil. That's intraday though, if you were talking daily you could chuck a few more in, USD/MXN, stuff like that.

Yep, intraday YM. ES I'm looking at but need to demo a little more first. I use IG for trading, and I have a Lions Futures account which currently I only use for charting (I'm still trading quite small as you'd expect). I look at a 15 minute chart, ...

Hi Adilius, My risk is 2.5% per trade, although of course at this stage I am compounding. I'm slightly unusual in that I'm trading futures rather than forex. 15% is good (in my opinion), but there's another member there doing the same thing who ...
